In 2018, I got a golden retriever (Claira) from these guys and they did a phenomenal job with her. This was back when they got puppies from reputable breeders, trained them and then found them homes. She is one of the most well-mannered dogs to this day and we constantly get asked how she is so well behaved. She…
Brad and the team at Puppy Steps are awesome! They obviously care about the dogs and are diligent and thoughtful in training. This is our second puppy that we've sent to Puppy Steps and the new puppy is now as well behaved and sweet as her older sister. Worth every penny lol!
We sent our young black lab Abigail to the training steps program, it took about 6 weeks and we did a demonstration and talk to us about how we should keep up on the training with the dog. The training was exactly everything they said and the dog did everything that they said the dog would do. Which has been a big…
I have had my golden doodle for 4 years now. He is still an absolutely wonderful dog. Thank you
Our puppy Flynn Rider was at steps training for 8 weeks. Brad, Skylar and McKenna did a great job with him. We are very happy that we took him there for training. They are very professional and knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations.

In 2018, I got a golden retriever (Claira) from these guys and they did a phenomenal job with her. This was back when they got puppies from reputable breeders, trained them and then found them homes. She is one of the most well-mannered dogs to this day and we constantly get asked how she is so well behaved. She received a lot of exposures to different situations while with them - they really covered their bases with her. She is now my service dog and has traveled to about 15 different states with me, flown over 30 times, and driven hundreds of miles with me. She is perfectly behaved in every situation. When it’s time for another puppy, we’re for sure coming back here!

The training was exactly everything they said and the dog did everything that they said the dog would do. Which has been a big help with having 2 young children in the house. At least get the training part of going outside and being in a kennel taken care of

We can honestly say this is the best puppy training program we've ever seen. Our mini goldendoodle, Tucker, went through their 4-week accelerated program and the results are amazing! He knows all his basic commands and executes them well. He always rings the jingle bells when he needs to go potty. He goes into his crate without complaint and sleeps through the night. He loves to please us and be rewarded with a treat. Beyond the fact that the training is so good, it is obvious that for Brad, the owner, this is a mission and he is passionate about it! We were fortunate to have Matalee as one of Tucker's trainers and it was obvious she knew her stuff and loved our puppy. Prior to his training Tucker had a bad experience being groomed because he was scared to death of the sound and vibration the clippers made and the groomer had to cut his hair with scissors. Over the four weeks of training Matalee slowly desensitized Tucker to the clippers. When we got him home from training and took him back to the groomers Tucker was did great with the clippers. Honestly, you will not find a better place to have your puppy trained than Puppy Steps. We give them a 10 out of 10 rating!

I’ve had my 18 week old puppy for a week since coming home from Puppy Steps - we haven’t had a single accident, he rings the bell when he needs to go out, and he knows his basic commands. NYC has a lot of distractions compared to Utah, so we are still working on recall while distracted by 50 pigeons, 12 new potential doggy friends, and 30 humans who want to pet him! That said, he wants to be BFFs with them all and that’s thanks to the exposure of puppy friends at Puppy Steps. Having a friend get a dog the same age as mine but without training, I can say with confidence that the investment in Puppy Steps was absolutely worth it. The daily updates from the trainers were informative and entertaining…the photo and video updates helped me feel like I was getting to learn more about Reggie’s mischievous character. Brad and team also helped with pick up from the Breeder and recommending a great flight nanny service to get Reggie from Utah to NYC. Also, for what it’s worth, I have even been able to vacuum just feet away from Reggie multiple times since he got home. He shies away if it gets too close, but doesn’t bark or over react. (Photos are ones I received while Reggie was at training)

Willie went to Puppy Steps for his basic training and service dog training. His training was extremely important since he is also the first MLB emotional support dog and spending his days at the field around players and staff and traveling on planes a lot. I can not say enough positive about Puppy Steps and the work they do. They addressed every behavior and concern I brought up and more, and it was nice to see daily journals of his day/progress as well as pictures and videos. The training isn’t limited to just a training room, they took him out into the community and in environments that would challenge with noise, crowds, etc. He got a lot of 1:1 training as well as group socialization training with other dogs which is so important and something I couldn’t do on my own. Brad and his trainers are so diligent, patient and knowledgeable I would 100% recommend them to everyone. Willie is thriving as a professional baseball dog and I always get compliments in the airport and on flights about how well behaved he is!
Lucy was amazing she was a good listener!
