Pure Barre Ankeny is simply the best! After moving to Iowa & leaving a career of nearly 20 years, it was challenging to find my place and my people. I was searching for a gym and stumbled across Pure Barre. I was hooked from the first class! The community is so welcoming and encouraging, the instructors, staff and owner couldn’t be any sweeter, the classes are challenging and I feel better than I have in years. Thanks Pure Barre Ankeny for kicking my butt every week! ILYSM!
I highly recommend joining this incredible community. We are strong and inspiring. We lift. We tone. We burn! I’ve been a member for over 2 years and I feel stronger and healthier than I’ve ever felt in my life. I have more confidence and I look forward to each workout. 10/10 recommend

I absolutely love going to workout at this place! The instructors are wonderful. They offer modifications as well as encouragement throughout the class. Everyone has been so friendly and encouraging as well.
I cannot recommend Pure Barre Ankeny enough! Hands down best community! The energy is contagious and the workouts are amazing! The instructors are truly some of the best humans that push you to do your best! If you haven’t already check it out ASAP!
As someone who travels quite frequently, I’ve found it hard to be consistent with a gym routine but Pure Barre has me hooked! I’ve upped my workouts from 2-3/week to 5-7 and am able to go more frequently thanks to stretches built into the workout to help alleviate soreness. I always leave feeling accomplished, grateful and ready for the next class. Love the group of trainers and the community of women here, too!
Katie as an owner of PB Ankeny is amazing. She surrounds herself with an excellent staff from the front desk to the studio. The instructors are talented, patient, kind & fun. The community of women is a wide-range of ages & backgrounds with the common thread kindness & encouragement. I have felt welcome from Day 1 & continue to feel that way 3 years later. I didn’t realize when I started that not only would I love the classes, I would also meet so many wonderful women in one place.
I have been a member of Pure Barre since December 2018, and consider it one of the best exercise facilities in Ankeny. High quality programming, instructors, atmosphere, and management.
