I absolutely love Pure Barre Midland! The classes are challenging but still so much fun, and I always leave feeling stronger and better than when I walked in. The instructors are encouraging, knowledgeable, and genuinely make an effort to get to know you. What I love most is the community. Everyone is so welcoming, and there’s such a positive, supportive energy in the studio. Whether you’re brand new to Pure Barre or have been doing it for years, you never feel out of place. It has quickly become one of my favorite parts of my day. Highly recommend giving it a try!

I've been going to Pure Barre for 2.5 years now and LOVE IT here. The work outs are great and ever-changing...they're low impact, but high intensity, so it's always a challenging workout that's attainable for a wide variety of fitness levels. A few months after I started Pure Barre, I became pregnant with my 3rd baby, and took classes all the way up to less than 24 hours before birth was born LOL. It was definitely the strongest I ever felt while pregnant, and I was able to jump back in postpartum with modifications and always felt like I was getting a great workout. The community is awesome, the instructors are fabulous, and it's a super CLEAN studio.

Pure Barre Midland has been a such a great space for me since I moved to Midland May of 2018. I moved out here without any family or friends in the area! Just me and a longtime boyfriend who works crazy hours. I joined June of 2018 and here I am about 15 months later and still so happy I made the decision to join the PBM fam. All of the instructors and classes are Absolutely fabulous, encouraging, and challenging. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for the finest workout with some of Midland’s finest people!

High-nose selective club… After taking two free classes that were offered, I was asked to not come back unless I became a full-paying member. Nice stipulation on the class. This was after being interrogated by a front end staff and pressured to join the gym. I politely stated that I was not interested in a full commitment right now due to my erratic schedule. Her words were, the free classes are for people who subscribe. By me attending a free class and not purchasing a yearly membership, I am taking up space in the class that otherwise a paying customer could attend. Let me back up and say this was all after showing up for the first class, getting all the way to the gym, and them telling me class was canceled because I was the only one who signed up. Couldn't notify before then? Thanks. So I rescheduled for later that day, and only one other person attended class. Wow, seems overbooked to me. Note, It did not cost the place anything additionally to have me in class. Word of advice on customer service, that's not how you do it. Maybe think before you run people off and realize the bad reviews and reputation you cost yourselves. If you want to join this gym, you better fit in and look the part like their picture-perfect images on the website.

Bethany, thank you very much for sharing your feedback about your experience at our location. Our general rule is to host people for 1-2 free classes before they decide whether or not Pure Barre would fit into their fitness routine, at which point they would need to purchase single classes, a class pack, or a membership option (we have annual options as well as month-to-month options). By complete mistake on our behalf, we allowed you to take 16 introductory classes before asking you to make that decision. The cost to us to have someone there for that many classes does, contrary to your statement, add up, when you include compensating our staff and the large quantity of complimentary swag, food, and drinks we purchase for guests. There is no requirement to join in any capacity after a trial class, or even two, but if one wants to continue taking class after that, then yes, they would need to purchase those. I am sorry that we did not do a good job of making that clear earlier on and that we caused any offense in our conversations with you. I truly apologize about your class getting cancelled and you not being notified beforehand, there was a (long story) mixup on our part and I feel terrible about inconveniencing you in that way. That was unacceptable and not up to the standards we strive to deliver. It is true that some class times are more popular than others— we added several extra classes throughout the day that weekend for our Grand Re-Opening celebration in order to accommodate anyone who might want to try Pure Barre. The class with one other person that you referred to was our Foundations class, designed to be a smaller setting for brand new people to get more attention and instruction from the instructor than they would in a full class. It was not at all our intention to make you feel unwelcome, or that you would ever need to fit in any certain mold to belong at Pure Barre. All people, regardless of size, shape, or appearance, are welcome in our studio. If you would like to discuss any of this further, we would be more than happy to. Feel free to reach out to me personally by emailing [email protected] or calling the studio at 432.214.7323. Again, thank you so much for your feedback. We appreciate it as we look to ensure every customer is treated to best-in-class service. Hayden Pearson GM | Lead Teacher

The environment is amazing and the staff is extremely kind. My only upset with the business is that I received an automated email stating if I missed a class I would be charged an initial fee. I understand that when you are running a business that you need to keep things tip top. Yet, I'm already paying a ridiculously high price for the classes, they are getting paid and then charging an extra $12 on top of that? Im all about Barre and the experience and it does work. I suggest looking at other options that appear to really want to keep their customers.
