Pure Fish Works

I give this place a solid 10 out of 5 stars!! Me and my girlfriend stopped here today after going to a half dozen larger fish stores in the twin cities. We were looking for unique fish to add to our aquarium. This place had some of the coolest freshwater fish, some I’d never seen before. The owner and staff are extremely nice and personable. The best part was that I was looking for an old fish hide like I had when I was a kid. He says “hold on, I’ll be right back.” I couldn’t believe when the owner came out with exactly what I was looking for!!! The nostalgia!!! That there is the customer service that you rarely find in the world these days. Another great thing about this store is the prices. I was shocked… the fish I picked out didn’t have a price tag on the tank, and I assumed they were gonna be $30-40 a piece. No, I got both for less than I expected to pay for one. Pure Fish Works will definitely get a lot more of my business. Great people, great fish, and great experience!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came today with my son to check this place out , we didn’t buy anything but the owner was so nice with me and my son . Let him feed the fish and my son is still talking about it this evening . Thank you! We will come back soon !

Super cool store and a very nice owner. That's very helpful and knowledgeable.I would highly recommend the store!!

Pure Fish in Hastings is hands down my favorite local fish store! Shawn is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to answer questions. Whether you’re brand new to the hobby or have been keeping aquariums for years, he’s happy to share his expertise. The fish are always healthy, the tanks are clean and well cared for, and there’s a great selection to choose from. I’ve also purchased several aquarium plants from Pure Fish, and every one of them has done wonderfully in my tanks. It’s clear that Shawn truly cares about the health of his fish and helping his customers succeed. I always enjoy stopping in, and I highly recommend Pure Fish to anyone looking for healthy fish, quality plants, and honest, knowledgeable service.

Great customer service and great prices! All of my children’s questions were answered, got to watch the frogs eat (were offered to feed them but my kids didn’t want to) and just overall a pleasant visit!

It is amazing

Lots of good fish and awesome customer service.

Wide selection of fish and knowledgeable staff

Me and my husband searched high and low all over the cities to adopt a tortoise. Shawn was able help us to find a baby Herman’s tortoise! His wife even made a hat for our tortoise to stay warm on his journey home. For such a big decision and a long commitment we were glad to have someone who was as committed to helping us as Pure Fish Works was.

Great place! They are skilled at taking care of fish, and know what they're talking about. They have amazing plants and a massive pleco in one of there tanks!!! Super cool place.
