Avoid this company. After a leak from the unit upstairs caused ceiling sag and water damage, I called for a basic inspection. There was no visible mold, and I was leaning toward a single test.
The technician repeatedly told me I “definitely” had mold. He brought up my young daughter and implied more testing was the responsible thing to do. At $300–400(ish) per sample, he recommended testing every room, plus the wall surface and inside the wall cavity, which would have cost thousands. He also said I could push my landlord to reimburse me. I narrowed it down and still paid $850, including a $100 control sample added as if it were already agreed to.
The results: no mold.
I have a record of the conversation, and after reviewing it alongside the lab results, I believe the sales approach was deceptive under California consumer protection law (Civil Code §1770; Bus. & Prof. Code §17200). He also offered me a $20 discount to leave this review on the spot, while he was still in my home. Incentivized reviews violate Google’s review policies and may violate the FTC’s review rule (16 CFR Part 465). My original review was given under those circumstances, and readers should consider that other positive reviews here may have been too.
Get a written quote before anyone arrives, and don’t let anyone tell you what you “definitely” have before the lab does.

Called to schedule an inspection, they told me it was $85 dollars for the inspection, they didn’t explained to me the cost of the tests, now they sent me the invoice for the inspection and they are saying that i need to pay $100 more to see at least the inspection report.

My husband called and they said it costs $85 for a visual inspection. They went did the visual inspection then notified my husband that if they did find anything it costs $125-$150 per swab, then $250 for an air sample. My husband told him no one notified him of those extra costs in the initial phone call. They got done doing the inspection & my husband was waiting for them to call him to tell him whatever they found and now they’re asking for a $100 fee to release any report ! None of this was originally disclosed & the man on the phone didn’t want to tell my husband anything else because he said they are on a recorded line to call tomorrow. AMAZING WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. FAR FROM GREAT.
