Deck rail loose enough to worry about. Boards cupping at the far end too. Called Tuesday, somebody out Thursday. Didn't take long. 4 hours total, start to finish. New fasteners right through the posts, the worst boards swapped out, the whole thing sanded back and resealed. Solid underfoot now. No wobble at the top of the steps either. Fair price. Would call them again for the front porch.

Our front porch railing was rotting and felt unsafe. PureDeck replaced the whole thing and reworked the steps too. Found them through a neighbor over in Villa Park. Feels secure now and looks a lot cleaner.

Not much to complain about with these folks. They built us a small deck off the kitchen door and did it without any fuss. The estimate was clear, the schedule held up, and the work itself is clean. Boards are even, railings are tight, and it feels sturdy when you walk on it. What I liked most was they didn't try to load me up with stuff I didn't need. I asked about a pergola and they were honest that it wasn't necessary for what I wanted. The deck has held up fine through some rain already. Stand up people all around.

PureDeck built us a two-level deck with a built-in bench along the back edge and stairs leading down to the yard. The bench was something we went back and forth on during the design phase and I'm glad we added it. It hides the transition between the upper and lower levels and gives us seating without needing a bunch of patio furniture out there. The composite boards they used have held up beautifully through one full summer and a brutal winter so far, no fading, no warping. Got their name after asking around for a deck builder in Elmhurst and a few people pointed to them. The crew was the same group every day which I think mattered for the consistency of the finish work. Mitered corners on the railing are clean, screw lines are straight, fascia boards line up. Small stuff that adds up. The deck feels like it was built once and built right instead of just thrown together

had an old wood deck that was original to the house, probably 25 years old. boards were cupping, a few were starting to rot near the ledger board, and the railing wobbled if you leaned on it. we knew we needed to do something but i was nervous about cost and about picking the wrong contractor. PureDeck came out, walked the whole thing with me, pointed out things i hadnt noticed like the flashing being basically gone behind the ledger. they gave us two options, one was a full rebuild with composite, the other was repair and reinforce. we went with the rebuild and im glad we did. tear out was fast, they found some sketchy framing underneath and replaced what needed it. new deck is bigger by about 2 feet on one side which they accommodated without much fuss. solid all the way through, no bounce, no movement on the railing now
