Chase came to assess the work I needed and he was super nice. I showed him what I was needing done, which is 1) replace hinges and add a dual sided lock on one existing aluminum gate, 2) remove and install hardware that I already have for a separate wooden gate, and 3) tighten up an existing aluminum gate on my dog run. When the quote came, I nearly dropped my phone. $1300?? There was no breakdown of labor and materials, to name one issue, and another is how can such a quick job cost over $1300?! I called to ask for a breakdown of the quote and after a heated discussion, they said they “have never done that” regarding the labor/materials breakdown. What legitimate contracting quote doesn’t come with a labor vs material breakdown? I finally got Chase to respond to me and he ended up hanging up on me. FYI they apparently have an $800 job minimum so if you have a small repair, don’t waste your time on this company. Also, be prepared to be hung up on if you protest a ridiculous quote.

Jamie, we’re sorry the estimate did not align with your expectations. Our pricing reflects the complete scope of work, materials, labor, travel, and the responsibility of warrantying work performed on an existing installation. We provide customers with a detailed scope and total project price, but we do not typically disclose our internal labor and material cost structure. Unfortunately, the conversation became unproductive. We wish you the best in finding a contractor whose pricing and process better meet your needs.
QC Fence made it easy to plan things out and were extremely patient with us as we worked with our HOA to get the fence approved. The scheduling and contacting was convenient, as it was done through text. They got the fence built fast, and provided excellent after sales support for a few small things. Would recommend!

The team did exactly what I needed. They were a reasonable price, the people are SUPER nice, and they work quickly. Of all the things that you hope for in a fence contracting team, from start to finish, they checked all the boxes. They were extremely transparent while providing an estimate. They were flexible on start time due to our vacation. They demolished the existing fence on day 1 and had the new fence installed by end of day 2! The trend started with my neighbor and carried on all down the block and further into the neighborhood. It seems I'm far from the only person who is thrilled with the work received. Highly recommend!
