I had the pleasure of working with Queen as the florist for a wedding this year, and she was a dream to collaborate with. Her day-of details were incredibly thorough, with clear timelines, load-in info, and everything I needed to plan my setup with confidence. She was warm, responsive, and so easy to talk to from the first message. It's rare to find a planner who makes vendors feel this supported and included. I'd happily work with her again and would recommend her to any couple.
Queen (and assistant Chloe) did an incredible job with our small wedding in Huddart Park. They turned a picnic area in a county park into a beautiful, flower-covered dream wedding venue. Queen totally understood what we wanted and executed it perfectly. She herself CUSTOM made all of our floral arrangements and bouquets with flowers from Trader Joe's to help us save money on florals and they could not have turned out more beautiful. She thought of everything, and we were able to completely enjoy the day without thinking about a single logistical detail. Would absolutely recommend working with Queen Creative Events.
Queen’s support as our wedding planner went far beyond our expectations. She gave us expert guidance on every level throughout the process. She volunteered to take on tasks, served as our liaison with the venue and all vendors, provided expert advice and kept us on track for the things that only we could do. She is kind, experienced, professional and very easy to work with. We both hire a lot of people in our jobs, and are a little picky in who we hire and Queen did not disappoint in any way. We very much recommend Queen and her company to support or lead weddings or other events.
We worked with Queen during our wedding as she was our Day Of/Month Of Coordinator and absolutely loved her. She's so calm, organized, and incredibly helpful. We had a micro-wedding in Sausalito with 40 guests and she made the process so much easier. Many of our guests commented on how much they loved her calm energy and how well coordinated the wedding was. Highly recommend her!
Working with Queen was an absolute dream! She took our hopes for an elevated backyard wedding and brought it to life so beautifully, and somehow made the experience of hosting our own ceremony and reception in our home feel completely easy and seamless. We had the pleasure of working with Queen and her assistant(Chloe) for a beautiful wedding in Oakland, and they were wonderful to work with from start to finish. Communication leading up to the wedding was clear and easy, and on the day of the event they were organized, professional, and always available when we needed to coordinate something.
The wedding itself was beautiful and ran incredibly smoothly. Queen and Chloe did a great job keeping everything on schedule while still allowing the evening to feel relaxed and natural. Transitions happened seamlessly, everyone knew where they needed to be, and from our perspective as a fellow wedding vendor, the entire event was very easy to work.
It’s always a pleasure working with coordinators who are prepared, communicative, and calm throughout the day, and Queen and Chloe were all of those things. We really enjoyed working with them and would absolutely be happy to work alongside their team again at a future event.
I worked with Queen + her team on a wedding a few weeks ago as the photographer for the day, and the team were so professional and on top of things. They really advocated for the couple to enjoy their evening, while making sure the vendor team worked together smoothly and were taken care of. Everyone was very friendly, and they managed to flip the entire ceremony space into reception space in less than 90-minutes. You could tell the couple felt very well taken care of and were able to be fully present in time with guests.
Wonderful, calm, welcoming, friendly, attentive, fun, on top of it! I traveled from Boston and worked with Queen on an event in the Bay Area, a fabulous 40th birthday party.
