I wanna start this off by saying that Edith is a very sweet woman, I had my wedding dress altered by her. It looks really amazing, I'm only giving three stars because I felt there was no communication with her outside of being physically in the shop. I made an appointment with her for July 11th. At my first appointment, we talked about what I wanted done hemming in the front, added bustle, and a modesty panel behind my corset back, and she also recommended what she would like to do to my dress to make it fit better. Atter she had put all the pins in she gave me my receipt and said to come back in three weeks on August 1st and it would be finished. She messaged me on July 30th asking me to come on the 2nd instead. I agreed. Now when I had went three weeks later, I expected the dress to be done since she never told me otherwise. Only the hemming on the bottom of the dress was done, but then a she started to pin the underside of my dress for my bustles again. My mom was with me at the appointment, she asked her if she needed to redo the pinning for the bustles she said yes. After this, she said to come back in one week on August 10th and it'll be done. Again. We were on our way (mind you my mom lives an hour away, and I live 30 minutes away), we hit some traffic and I messaged to her let her know we'd be a few minutes late. She didn't respond until we were outside her building, she said the dress wasn't done because she needed to order the bustles and they were arriving until Thursday August 13th. She did apologize for not letting us know, but at this point we were already there. She said it would be done on Saturday August 15th, this time it was done and it looked amazing. She did give us a discount for the inconvenience of coming to Visalia since she didn't let us know the dress was not done on August 10th. She was apologetic for that, and a really sweet woman. I would just say to try and over communicate with her on your end and ask plenty of questions so pickups and what you're needing

Absolutely A godsend and wonderful human being 💕I’m not the tallest bride but she made me so confident in my dress. Highly highly recommend her !
I took my wedding dress here for alterations & to add bustle loops. I also inquired about getting my dress steamed the week of my wedding. Pricing was adequate for what one expects to pay for a dress with a big train. She shortened the hem & added 9 bustle points, which were done well. My only complaint is that the day I picked it up, I was repeatedly told I would have to take my dress to be dry cleaned. I assumed it was for the steaming - thought maybe she was too busy since the wedding is at the beginning of May and prom season is around the corner. I shoved it off but throughout the appointment I was told again that I would have to get it dry cleaned. Before trying my dress on, I did notice some black stains on the inner hem. After trying it on, while she took off any remaining loose threads and when she extended my train to bag it up, I noticed more black stains along the entire inner hem & a larger black stain towards the middle of the train on the outside. It then clicked why the dry cleaning comments were made. I understand things happen but I would have appreciated honesty from the beginning of the appt rather than finding out on my own as the dress was being bagged up. On top of the cost of the alterations, I had to pay an additional $164 for dry cleaning on a dress I’ve never worn (other than for alteration try ons). I didn’t think to take pictures as I took my dress right away to the cleaners so as to prevent the stains from setting since I’m not sure what caused them.
Hi Jazmine, thank you for the honest review. It was a pleasure to work on your dress. The reason why dry cleaning was suggested was because the dress had those marks already when it was brought in and before I altered it. There was the assumption that you knew it about it, and I apologize for not acknowledging you prior starting the project of alterations. Respectfully , Edith

Awesome tailor!
I was more than a little late for our first meeting(Got lost) which can understandably start an appointment on the wrong foot. But it didn’t. She was so kind and understanding. Her proposed alterations were spot on and reasonable. The outfits were done when she said and perfect. I left 2 more outfits for her. I highly recommend
