Review from Google · view on GoogleI started with this practice in early summer for hormone help..at first it was ok but then it was a constant fight to get any phone calls returned; messages given etc I could never get into the patient portal & now I will be without my HRT because the practitioner has left & a “new one” is not available until January. I get things happen but the communication at this practice has been horrible & I am extremely angry & frustrated. I feel they do not care at all. I am so very disappointed. Now I need to “shop” & start over so I can get my hormones on track. Do better QOMC.

I was told that a referral needed to be submitted to the insurance company in order to determine whether I would be approved or not. I called twice, once before my referral was sent and again after. Each time, I was told that someone would contact me once the referral was either approved or denied, and that we could schedule from there. Today, I called to check the status, as it has been about two weeks. A woman answered and placed me on hold for about 10 minutes. When she returned, I asked her to check the status of my prior authorization, and she placed me on hold again for another 7 minutes. I was then transferred to someone in the insurance department. At that point, I tried to explain what I had been previously told, but the representative, whose name I believe was Maury (not sure of the spelling), repeatedly interrupted me and did not allow me to speak. When I asked if I could finish speaking, she dismissively responded, “I already told you what your benefits were,” without addressing any of my other questions or acknowledging the conflicting information I’d been given by other staff. Her tone was rude and her attitude completely unacceptable. I will be taking my care elsewhere. She should not be working in customer service if that’s the way she communicates with patients.

Review from Google · view on GoogleI had a horrible experience with Dr. Lipshutz. He was adjusting my back due to lower back pain. I was also having some tingling in my left foot. I had been seen at this practice previously by another chiropractor and had a very good experience. The previous time I was given x-rays on my first visit and I asked Dr. Lipshultz if I was going to be giving x-rays this time. He said no, he knew what to do. The first adjustment was fine, but the second and third caused me a lot of pain and I started having more intense tingling and this time it was in my left leg. On the fourth visit, I told him that I would not continue unless I could have imaging . He told me that they could not do x-rays because they sold their machine. So he sent me out for an MRI. That imaging revealed that I had spondylolisthesis which is a disc disease that can cause the vertebrae to slip forward. I then went to an orthopedic surgeon that said that Dr. Lipshutz never should have given me a “side posture” adjustment without imaging first and these adjustments could have moved my vertebrae further out of alignment. So, I am now left with having to get spinal injections, and have done intense physical therapy trying to undo the damage that was done at this practice. Never have any chiropractic doctor put their hands on you unless they’ve done imaging first. That is a mistake I will never make again and I will never again go to this practice. I let everyone I know about the error that was made regarding my care here to protect them from the pain I continue to deal with every day.
