USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I attempted to share this experience via Yelp, and my review was flagged as being biased. This is my experience. Someone also claimed they called me regarding this experience, but this is false. No one has contacted us.
It's been over a year since our ceiling caved in due to water damage, and I still fume over our experience. Why did I wait to review? Because I needed time to process, and I really wanted to let it go. However every day I'm reminded of the horrible experience. First off, the people related to asbestos and prepping the space were lovely and extremely professional. The workers who came in to actually fix the problem were not. Not only were they rude and didn't acknowledge me in my own home, they used my bathroom, placed poop-covered toilet paper in my trash can and didn't tell me, and left my toilet completely disgusting with no attempt to even try and clean it. When the work was finally done, they opened the door and the main guy said "you can start cleaning now". I walked in to find that no one put any plastic down on my brand new flooring before starting to restore the giant hole in my ceiling. I was speechless, as my new floors were covered in debris, drywall material, and scratches. Additionally, during the painting process, they chose the completely wrong color and when I said that it was incorrect, they argued with me that it was not, which continued until I brought in the paint I had from, again, freshly painting my brand new house. When I walked in to the "finished" room, I was also met with a missing vent. Yep, they completely patched over my vent. When I pointed it out, they haphazardly cut a hole in my ceiling way off to the corner of the room, and now my vents don't match in my two rooms. When I asked why the hell the vent was way in the corner now, he argued with me that it was because of better air flow. I also noticed that a window censor was missing, presumably it got knocked off when the work was happening and yet again, he argued with me that nothing was missing, until he magically found the censor in the trash piles. No apologies, no remorse. At the end of this horrible experience, I was forced to "write something nice" on the receipt before they would leave. So why didn't I say anything? I was home alone in a house full of 3-4 men who were combative and forcing me to write a review while they watched. I wish I could just let this go, but I don't want anyone else to experience this. My floors are completely scratched up, and there is STILL drywall remnant in certain places that no matter how much I scrub, it's just stuck. There are also drips on my baseboards that were only noticed recently. Please use caution if you go through this company. I regret not saying anything, I was just scared of the recourse

Please let me know if there is anyone who can get in touch within this company. We have since been displaced from our home after having a tech come out and are in a hotel. Our dog has been in 100 degree weather and the GM first refused ownership when even the tech apologized for the mistake of damaging a pipe and water spewing out. He then reached out to try to rectify only to not respond for another night. Please reach out to me if you’re in management in Rainbow Restoration and are not Param. Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out, your patience with our investigation and reply. We take allegations of property damage incredibly seriously, which is why management immediately initiated a thorough investigation into this matter.
Our company policy requires strict documentation, including pre-and post-inspection photos and professional assessments. The documentation from our initial visit—including evidence of extensive microbial growth and corroded copper within the wall cavity—confirmed an active, long-standing leak. While third-party inspectors confirmed that our technician did not cause any additional damage, our primary goal was to ensure your safety and peace of mind.
To support you, the family, and the pet during a stressful time and ensure a positive experience, we went completely above and beyond our standard procedures listed in our agreement. To date, we have refunded your $350 inspection fee to help with temporary housing, found the source of your mold problem, covered your $90 home warranty deductible, on top of that, paid for the pre-existing plumbing repairs directly, and provided complimentary dehumidification equipment.
While we cannot provide a free, full-home mold remediation and rebuild for pre-existing conditions, we have treated your family with the utmost care. This matter has been fully reviewed by corporate compliance and is considered resolved. We wish you the very best in your home's restoration.

I wish I could give zero stars. Rainbow was provided to us by our insurance last June for a kitchen faucet that was leaking because it was backed up. The result was a complete kitchen remodel because cabinets in the sink area were ruined beyond repair. It took them 4 months to finish due to MANY mistakes consistently made. They had to assign a new supervisor, and a new work team because the first team messed up so badly. The second team seemed like they were going to be better, but all the lead seemed to be concerned about was that we leave him a good review on Yelp. Even upon completion, there were still doors hung wrong on cabinets that they refused to fix AND we lost about 2/3 cupboard space with the new cabinets that the first supervisor said would be “so great”. We had continuously told them that we lost WAY too much storage space and our pots and pans didn’t even fit in the new cupboards, let alone anything else. All they said was nod their heads and say NOTHING about our concerns. About 2 weeks after they were “finished” our dish washer stopped working. We hadn’t used it for about 6-7 weeks and all of a sudden there was water coming out from under the dishwasher in the corner between the dishwasher and cabinet under the sink. I called Rainbow and they came out immediately to take a look and basically told us that it wasn’t their problem. They sent out the first supervisor that had been removed from the project halfway through and who I had specifically requested that he not come. The other problem was that the granite was leaving large spots that we couldn’t get dry/clean and they told us they would contact the counter people and a plumber. I had questioned in the beginning if they had a plumber come out to check and see if there was a blockage and that was the reason for the faucet leaking so badly. But since this is my parents house, I was not included in discussions with insurance. I tried calling 3 times during that week and no one ever got back to me. They said they were waiting for the counter people to call them back. In the meantime, a week after their visit I was in a horrible car accident and still have not returned to work, so other phone calls and such have taken priority. We just had a new dishwasher attempt to be installed today and when they removed the old dishwasher (that hasn’t been used for 4 months) there was water damage to the new cabinet under the sink as well as horrible mold all over the sheet rock they put in behind the dishwasher. I called rainbow and told them it was an emergency and what the problem was. I was told that I would receive a call back today, it’s been over 2 hours since I called them with an emergency and still no phone call has been received back. Maybe this review will help them return my call.
The following pictures show the mold on the brand new sheet rock they installed 6 months ago and the damage to the brand new cabinets they installed as well. They should have listened to me when they came out January 5th. Then maybe the water damage wouldn’t be this bad.

Thank you for sharing your feedback Jennifer. Please accept our apologies for the delay in responding; we wanted to conduct a comprehensive review of your project files to provide a clear and accurate reply.
At Rainbow Restoration, we take the quality and longevity of our work very seriously. We would like to provide some important context regarding this project:
Verified Completion: This remodel was completed according to the insurance-approved scope. In September 2025, a Certificate of Satisfaction was signed, confirming that the cabinetry and installation met all expectations. At the time of completion in September, our team identified that the pre-existing dishwasher was beginning to fail. We advised an immediate replacement at that time, and it was discussed that a Home Warranty claim would be initiated to address the appliance.
The Source of the Leak: When we returned in January to investigate new concerns, our inspection identified that a pre-existing, aging dishwasher had begun to fail. As a structural restoration company, we are not licensed for appliance repair. We advised at that time that the unit required immediate professional service to protect the new cabinetry.
Secondary Damage: We always aim for transparency regarding water intrusion. Mold can begin to grow within 24 to 48 hours of exposure to moisture. Because of this rapid window, we emphasized the importance of addressing the appliance leak immediately to prevent structural damage or microbial growth in the new materials.
Granite Care: Regarding the stone, our inspection noted topical oil staining, which is a maintenance-related issue rather than a result of the structural installation.
We understand your frustration, however we continue to pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and stand by the quality of the work we delivered while completing your project. It is distressing to see new damage occur, it is unfortunately the result of a secondary appliance failure outside of our original scope of work. We continue to wish you the very best.
