If you want a semi private event that holds up to 60 people. This is it. The pavilion is big enough, the bathroom and kids park is next to the pavillion so it's very easy to keep the kids in view. Also there's a baseball field in full view of both the pavillion and kids park so the adults can get in the fun action too. Just remember to get the permit.
They charge for parking but don't maintain the boat ramp approach! Full of pot holes!
Ya know, I understand they have plans to develop this area, but if you want a location that is surveillance by both park ranger and cctv (to deter crime), a place that is fully shaded by trees older than most of us living here, a park for families, and a small boat launch to enjoy the water, this is the place. On my adventure today, I spotted 2 bald eagles perched atop a radio tower. Pics on my other phone, i may post them later

Nice place for outdoor Birthday Parties. Reserve a covered spot with BBQ pit, tables, benches and playground, Ballfields, climbing trees and it was a public Boat ramp ! Plenty of parking, bathrooms, well kept. Bring your own, there are no concessions
