I have shopped here roughly 15 times over the last year and a half. For the most part, my experiences were decent enough to make me become a return customer. Plant quality, variety, and pricing was reasonable. I won’t be returning after my customer service experience today. I called to get ballpark prices on 3-6 gallon rhododendrons. Pretty simple right??? Apparently not. The lady I spoke with acted like this required a lot of work and clearly I was an inconvenience to her. She said it would be a while until someone got back to me. After I gave her my name and number, I started to ask her if she could give me an idea of when I would hear back from someone. She then hung up on me. This isn’t the first time I’ve called with questions and received a similar attitude. To BB Barns it is, where the lady I spoke with prior to calling Raymond’s was thorough, friendly, and answered all of my questions. A quantity of 15 (3-6 gallons) rhododendron is not cheap. Your loss Raymond’s, not mine.

We are genuinely devastated to hear about your experience, especially after you had been a returning customer of ours for the past year and a half. We are grateful for the many times you chose to shop with us, and we are very sorry that this interaction left you feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Being made to feel like an inconvenience, and especially being hung up on, is not the level of customer service we expect from our team or the experience we want anyone to have at Raymond’s. We will be using this as a very serious teachable moment with our staff. We know that our customers have choices about where they spend their money, and we never want anyone to leave feeling that their business or questions aren't valued. We sincerely apologize.
