Customers frequently praise the company for clear communication, punctuality, and competitive pricing on projects involving pavers, retaining walls, and irrigation systems. Reviewers note that the team maintains clean job sites and delivers work within estimated timeframes. One negative review highlights a failure to follow up on a requested quote after an initial site visit, though this issue appears isolated among the high ratings.

Ramiro and team are top notch. Very clear with communication, super professional, always timely and reliable, and excellent finished results. Their attention to detail and masonry work are incredible. They offered great recommendations and were super helpful the whole project. Highly recommend and will absolutely work with them again!
RB Landscaping did a fantastic job with my front yard, walkway and driveway project. From the fast response from Nate and endless patience answering my questions plus guidance on materials, to the actual work from Jesus and team I couldn't recommend them more. The quality of their work and attention to detail was clear each day, from arriving on time to their professionalism, and how fast they were able to do so much I was honestly impressed. I also appreciated how they diligently cleaned up the area every day, no dirt on my neighbor's sidewalk or driveway from my project. RB not only came in overall under budget from 4 bids I received, but also did the work twice as fast as the "big" competitor as well, in total taking 5 days to complete. My neighbors keep giving me compliments as I pass them on the street now, saying how great our yard looks. Will have zero hesitation to engage RB for my future projects.
RB Landscaping was excellent from initial conversation, to final goodbye. I had a job that I knew would be labor intensive and working with existing features. My backyard Connecticut Blue Stone pavers had sunk and shifted over the 20+ years in my yard. This has been a major trip hazard to anybody coming to my home and definitely for me. The irrigation also had issues with misplacement and broken heads. Gustavo, the young project estimator, came to my home August 4th. Without having me to explain issues, he immediately noticed the issues with the stone. He walked through the potential project of removing the stone, inspecting and repairing the irrigation, regrading the yard to keep water from moving towards the house, and placing the stones back down. The estimate was extremely fair and included all the essentials tasks. We did add on planting of creeping thyme plug between stones. The job was schedules for October. But, happy day. The job was moved to Sept 30th. The afternoon of September 30th Gustavo and the crew came over in the afternoon to discuss and map out the work. October 1st and 2nd they worked from 7:30am to 5pm. The 3-person crew and Gustavo were amazingly efficient and very quite. During the fist full day, Gustavo and I spoke about the grading and management of water. A French drain was added, as part of the original estimate, and expertly installed. Summary: great communication throughout the ;process, quality crew and expert work, excellent time line, above and beyond my expectations, working with me in adjustments and solutions, and very fair price for this important project. I now have a surface that is safer for walking across, the thyme will grow in and offer a fragrance, irrigation now very efficient and coving more of my yard, and much safer on and off steps to my backyard deck. I will be hiring them again early next year to address another area of water management from heavy rains. Redwood City has a very shallow water table and I live on the flat. The long driveway needs assistance in water pooling.
RB Landscaping is hands down one of the best in the Bay Area! Nate and Jesus, along with their team, were incredibly upfront, professional, and understanding of our needs throughout the entire project. We contracted them to build a 50-foot CMU retaining wall, and we were extremely impressed with how fast, efficient, and hardworking the entire team was. They kept us informed throughout the process, paid attention to the details, and made sure the project was done right. If you’re looking for a landscaping company that’s reliable, honest, and takes pride in their work, I highly recommend RB Landscaping. We couldn’t be happier with the results!
The work was done ahead of schedule and exactly how I wanted it to be done. It included adding pavers and pouring concrete for a new driveway as well as landscaping work. Alonzo and Nate were very available and responsive . Reasonably priced work too!

Highly recommend their team to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality landscaping work!

We couldn't be happier with our backyard renovation by RB Landscaping! A huge thank you to Nate for his excellent communication, organization, and professionalism throughout the entire project. Everything was handled smoothly from start to finish. Gustavo and his crew were outstanding. They were incredibly hardworking, communicative, respectful, and paid great attention to detail. It was clear they took pride in their work, and the results exceeded our expectations. We are beyond happy with our new backyard and highly recommend RB Landscaping to anyone looking for quality work and a great team. We'll definitely be recommending them to our friends and family!
We had a great experience with RB Landscaping. They landscaped our entire yard according to our detailed plans, including areas of plantings, mulching, gravel parking and permeable pavers. Both the on-site crew and the office personnel communicated well and were responsive to our needs as the project progressed. Their prices also seemed competitive based on the other bids we received. Highly recommended.
We recently hired RB Landscaping for a total makeover of both our front and back yards, and we couldn't be happier with the results! When we were planning the project, we gathered several quotes and ultimately chose RB Landscaping because they were highly knowledgeable and by far the most reasonably priced. Nate in the office was fantastic to work with throughout the design and estimate phase—he was incredibly patient and always quick to reply to our questions. The project was a huge job that included installing pavers, sod, garden beds, and a complete irrigation system. The team was highly professional, starting and finishing right on schedule. They even easily accommodated a few additions we decided to make once the work was underway. Huge thanks to Jesus, our foreman, and his crew for their hard work and keeping everything running smoothly on-site. Our new yard is a beautiful transformation that our family is going to enjoy for years to come!
