Realizing we had a dog reactive dog it was important for us to invest in private training lessons. Max came to our house with fellow trainer Ashley. They brought Max’s dogs to help us learn how to decrease our dog’s reactions to other dogs in his neighborhood.

We were struggling with our 3 month old puppy feeling unable to stop biting, jumping, poo in cage when left alone among other things. Max came to our home and taught us several methods to work on to solve these issues. We advanced to being able to take a stress free walk which was a nice bonus. We are solidifying all we have learned and plan to continue with further, less stressful induced ,training in the near future. Our pup is now almost 4.5 months and so much less stress. Recommend 100%

Max is exceptionally knowledgeable about canine behavior. My Border Collie already listens to and respects him completely. Max is also helping me realize that successful training depends on my own behavior and consistency, and he's been great at coaching me alongside my dog. I highly recommend Ready, Set, Train! for you and your pet.

This review is from Scott and Julie White for Scooby. We received 3 private lessons from Max. We are also planning on doing a group class too. We just adopted a 2 yr old dog that had no training. We really had no idea where to start. He was wonderful in helping to reassure and help us. He is very knowledgeable and taught us so much. We are very pleased and recommend him highly.

We found Ready Set Train through Tina at Canine Karma,( We love her too!) and working with Max has been such a great experience. We started over the summer with private sessions for Zekes separation anxiety , and leash reactivity, as well as my pup Taz, as they feed off each other’s emotions.
We’ve also done group classes for each pup, and everyone has been so caring, patient, and communicative both in and outside of class. Max is always happy to answer my questions and is very informative when it comes to me understanding my dogs’ behavior and next steps for training. We are excited to do more classes, as we have seen real progress and couldn’t be happier!!! :) highly recommend Ready Set Train!
