⭐ 1 STAR — MENIFEE My experience with Reel Fathers Rights and Attorney David Taub was profoundly disappointing. As a single father, I trusted this firm during an extremely important family matter and spent over $7,000 of money I had worked hard to save. I was charged $650 per hour, although my understanding when I hired them was $550, and I later learned that many family-law rates I saw quoted were considerably lower. To be completely fair, the firm eventually provided a written accounting explanation and the numbers appeared to add up mathematically. My dissatisfaction goes far beyond arithmetic. It is about the communication, value, responsiveness, and treatment I received—particularly after my representation was ending. I felt increasingly dismissed, disregarded, and financially taken advantage of. I also find some of the firm's responses to negative reviews evasive and disingenuous, particularly language suggesting they cannot confirm whether reviewers were clients. I have a letter personally addressed to me by David Taub discussing my billing concerns and explicitly referencing our attorney-client relationship. Before hiring this firm, I strongly recommend researching reviews across all of their locations and checking their Better Business Bureau history, where Reel Fathers Rights had an F rating when I checked. For me, the overall experience was disproportionately expensive, frustrating, and deeply disappointing. One star.
