Worst service. Turned my thermostat down to 69 degrees and I’m wondering why it’s freezing in my house. Moved things to clean and didn’t put anything back. Left smear stains on my windows. Took a door stopper off and just left it in a corner. Didn’t clean the floors properly. Cleaned half a mirror because it was tall instead of asking for a stool to clean the whole mirror. Put things from the floor on my bed, I guess to clean the floor, and just left the stuff on my bed. Didn’t mop kitchen or pantry until I specifically asked. Didn’t touch the coffee table. This was supposed to be a deep clean service for $1500. I’m appalled. This is absolutely insane. Who just leaves stuff anywhere and doesn’t put things back the way they were?! All I heard was banging from them vacuuming all day long. I had to go see what they were doing because I was nervous they were damaging my home. I don’t even know how to feel right now besides freezing because I’m still waiting for my house to warm up.

I’ve been through several different cleaning services in the Athens/Winder area and these guys by far are the best. Cayla, Cassidy, and Tasha came out for a full deep clean and they did amazing. Highly recommend!

2026 Review Update
Rescue My Time (RMT) is the rare service company that strives daily to provide an exceptional level of professional home cleaning with an attentive and responsive staff to address any questions or concerns.
Lisa, the owner, shows deep respect and care for her team of providers - pretty house doctors. Her empathy, expertise, and wisdom expand into customer care. I know I can rely on her to adapt to my unexpected situations: surgery, with an extended recovery time, a need to reschedule suddenly, rare, but it happens, and always be sweet natured about everything. For example, when our home was chosen as one of the holiday show houses, extra attention was given to details. Tour guests commented on how “spotless” our home was down to the corners! And RMT came through. (I was focused on design details not cleaning.)
Tammi has taken care of me for several years. She is pure sunshine, always asking if I have special requests. I cannot imagine not having Tammi in my life. The rare times I have had substitute staff, I have been delighted by their work ethic and expertise. I have Lisa to thank for this.
I am very selective about home services, and Rescue My Time has my highest recommendation.
We began using the service as an assist for post-op procedure. We met Deborah as the first pro. She is all we had hoped for: professional, skilled, efficient, and personable. ( We sometimes had other pros fill in, and we liked their work.). Staff is friendly and helpful when scheduled service must be changed due to medical appointments. Highly recommend.

It is easy to see a business with very few bad reviews and assume if they get one or two that it is an outlier. I hoped that when I signed up for this cleaning service. Unfortunately our experience has been negative too.
The service and communication from the owner is awful. From charging the wrong card multiple times despite clear instructions to update the one on file, to recommending we buy five hours worth of service to do our deep spring cleaning only to communicate nothing on our cleaning list to the housekeeper so she wasted the time doing our normal clean more slowly.
They are very responsive to messages about bookings but every time I’ve had an issue there has been radio silence, no ownership of the problem, and no apology. That’s not the kind of trust imbuing response you want from a business that sends strangers into your home on a regular basis. 0 out of 10, don’t recommend.

Thank you for your feedback. Timed jobs are always so tricky as we try to do everything on the customers list and when we run out of time, we have instructed our technicians not to stay in order to avoid additional charges without the customer approval. Time jobs are specifically for certain areas in the home not for a whole house cleaning. However, we failed you and we apologize profusely and will strive to improve going forward. Thank you.

Maria and Tammy did an amazing job. The house is spotless, which is a far cry from how it was before they arrived. My mother is so impressed, too, and she is a tough customer! I will be a repeat client of Maria’s and Tammy’s!
