I discovered a dusty box of family reel-to-reel tapes, and Rick did an incredible job restoring and digitizing them for me. He was friendly, easy to work with, and clear with cost and timeline. Listening to these materials with family after not having heard them for 60+ years (and not even knowing their condition)…

Worked with Rick for many years when I moved to US from UK, continue to do so after many years, a true magical guy and a great friend. Music is about passion and commitment, Rick has both and more

Rick immediately understood my project of recapturing old audio cassette tapes to record them onto CDs. He is very efficient, knowledgeable, and had some excellent suggestions. His training in music made this an easy experience for me. I definitely recommend him and will very likely use his services again.

Rick did a great job transferring this onto formats that are very easy for us to use on our computer (MP3 & Jump Drive). Rick was great to work with and very professional in all of his work. The audio sounds fantastic. His pricing was extremely fair. It is so fun to have these audios to easily listen to and remind all of us of what our voices sounded like many years ago! I highly suggest anyone that wants any of this type work done to hire Rick.

In March 1987 my father passed away leaving me with many unanswered questions. As a child of divorce, I knew little about my father. I had visited and spent very little time with him. Fast forward, a few months ago my step-dad gave me several reel to reel tapes that my father recorded in 1968 while In Vietnam.
I had no idea what to do with them since I didn’t have the right kind of electronics to play them. I found Rick Hale and he converted the reel to reel tapes into CDs. Rick made my father’s voice come to life from tapes that were over 50 years old! While listening to the CDs I learned where to begin searching for my God Parents who I had not seen since I was an infant. More than that, Rick helped bring closure for me by bringing my father’s voice alive. He made certain that he was able to bring the best quality sound possible and was very concerned about the finished product. Thank you so much Rick! You have no idea what you have provided for me.
