My parents are both 98 and live in the Lee Harvard area. They live at home with minimal assistance from my brother and myself. Approximately a year ago, I called Right at Home to request an assessment for future healthcare needs due to mother’s declining memory. Shalom was on time for the appointment at our parent’s home. My parents are very private and proud people as many were of this generation. Shalom told us why he started the business. He is personable, very pleasant and made us comfortable while discussing a sensitive subject with my parents. My parents are having a difficult time welcoming anyone into their home. Shalom called a few times since our first meeting to check on us and follow up for updates on our situation (which I truly appreciate). We will definitely contact Shalom and trust his company’s commitment to caring for my parents in the future.

I helped organized the health expo because I like to connect my older neighbors to speakers and nurses that I trust from our local hospitals to do screenings and community education, While Right at Home sends Home health aides and nursing assistants to our clients in their homes, we stay in our lane, and rely on other experts to add their pieces to the health care puzzle.

My Mom's ladies are all very good in Beachwood. They brush Mom's teeth, and help her toilet. SO KIND. Very strong to help with the transfers. Always respectful. Supporting her daily routines with dignity. Pasha, Tonya Patricia, Susan, and Kayla, are Gentle and compassionate.

Our companions support our clients when they're "low," by validating their feelings, and keeping up helpful routines; like eating a home cooked meal, meds, and sometimes movement, music, meditation, fresh air and/or a shower.

We had a wonderful experience with Right at Home, especially with my father’s caregiver, Karen. My dad has Parkinson’s, dementia, mobility issues, and difficulty swallowing, so having someone we could trust with his care was very important.
Karen was kind, patient, and attentive. She helped my dad with bathing, meals, exercises, and walking the hallways of their building to keep him active. She also prepared meals, did light cleaning, and stayed with him so my mother, his primary caregiver, could attend appointments and run errands without worrying about leaving him alone.
We are very grateful for Karen’s compassion and the care she provided to my father. I would highly recommend Right at Home to families needing dependable and compassionate in-home care.
