Wow talk about a really good head spa!!! I bought it on offer $89 for what is typically a $155 service, and will look out for more. Great little fresh herbal tea and chocolate caramel treat too while drying hair. I'll definitely be coming back for other hair services.
Ha and her crew did an incredible hair transformation, grey blending my hair with balayage and highlights. They took their time and it did not feel rushed. I received a lot of compliments on how my hair looked afterwards and my hair feels healthier and great! It is also reasonably priced. Come check them out! They will not disappoint.

I will give two stars for the staff but the service of lashes was below my expectations. Lashes attached to my skin, heavy and definitely not what I asked for. I requested short even length with no special adjustments very naturally shaped and ended up with hybrid long painful lashes. Also did the spa head massage…

River Beauty Spa…and all of the staff!! Make you feel welcomed and at home immediately! The team really works hard to provide the best customer service and making sure their customers are satisfied! I’ve been getting my lash extensions and I just had the BEST HEAD-SPA EXPERIENCE as well! It’s hard to find good hard working people who deliver excellent results of their services every time I’ve come for a service! Today…I decided to book my son a hair cut and ended up bringing my 2 oldest daughters! The team asked the girls if they wanted a mini spa treatment and wash their hair for them! All 3 kids were spoiled and pampered to say the least! The amount of care, excitement and positive energy Hallie, Rose, Chloe and Tom provided to my babies…made my heart happy! Our kids are our future and when they are taken care of..the littlest things help them understand what self value and worth really means! My Chloe, Kendall and Conor asked as soon as we sat in the car to leave…when do we get to come back! Not only am I going to stay and remain loyal with River Beauty Spa…but now I can confidently bring my kids with me to share the same HIGH END/QUALITY services this team provides! I’ve had wonderful experiences at River Beauty Spa, and I want to give a special shout-out to Rose! She is talented, attentive, and really listens to what I want. For my haircut, I requested a high-and-tight style with a low skin fade. Rose paid close attention to the details and gave me exactly the look I was hoping for. I was so happy with the haircut that I also asked her to do my color. My hair is a mixture of black and gray, and I wanted a natural blend that would soften the silver without creating an obvious line as my roots grew out. Ro listened carefully and blended the color beautifully. The result looks natural and makes the grow-out much easier to manage. I usually get my haircut every two to three weeks, but I can space my color appointments out to about six weeks. I really appreciate that she understood both the look I wanted and my maintenance routine. I also tried the Diamond Head Spa service, which lasted about an hour and twenty minutes, and it was such a relaxing experience! I chose a facial mask and explained that my skin is oily and acne-prone, with visible pores. The team listened to my concerns and selected products suited to my skin. The scalp and shoulder massage was a highlight for me. I spend a lot of time working at a computer, and my neck and shoulders often feel tense from looking down. During the treatment, I could finally unwind, and afterward, my shoulders felt much more relaxed and comfortable. My hair is fine, and after the head spa, it felt clean, refreshed, and fuller. I enjoy coming in about every two weeks for the head spa and skincare services. It has become something I really look forward to. The salon is clean, and the team is friendly, welcoming, and works well together. From the haircut and color to the head spa, I felt that they cared about my preferences and comfort. I highly recommend River Beauty Spa, especially Rose for haircuts and color. She takes the time to listen, and I’m very satisfied with the results. Extremely Disappointing Experience at River Spa — Nearly 400$ paid for damaged hair. My experience at River Spa was absolutely terrible. I went in to refresh my existing blonde highlights and get a haircut. After showing the stylist exactly what I wanted, I decided to add color as well. I specifically asked for a light brown base with soft, natural-looking highlights. I spent over SIX HOURS at the salon. Throughout the appointment, the foils kept falling out, and the stylist repeatedly had to redo them. It became increasingly clear that she was struggling with the process, and I started worrying about what was happening to my hair. Unfortunately, the final result was a disaster. When my hair was washed, it was patchy and spotted, looking like leopard print. Another stylist had to step in and attempt to correct it with toner, but my hair ended up almost black at the bottom, with harsh, uneven highlights resembling tiger stripes. This was nowhere near what I had requested. To make matters worse, they used a hair straightener on my hair, and afterward it felt severely burned. My ends were extremely fragile and felt as though they could break off. I was horrified by the condition of my hair after spending so many hours in their care. And as if ruining my hair weren’t enough, they also ruined my new wool sweater. I paid almost $400, including the tip, for this unacceptable experience. When I returned the next day to request a refund, they offered me a Brazilian blowout, claiming it would fix my hair. After everything that had happened, I had absolutely no confidence in letting them perform another chemical or heat-based treatment on my hair. I simply did not want them touching my hair again, and I think that is completely understandable. They eventually agreed to refund me $200, meaning I am still out a significant amount of money for a service that left my hair in terrible condition, along with the cost of my ruined sweater. A salon should be a place where you can trust professionals with your appearance. Instead, I left River Spa with hair that looked nothing like what I requested, serious concerns about breakage and damage, ruined clothing, and a very stressful experience after paying nearly $400. Offering a Brazilian blowout was not an acceptable solution to the damage I experienced. I went there expecting professional skill, care, and a beautiful result. What I received was the complete opposite. This was an expensive and deeply disappointing experience, and based on what happened to me. Response back: I would like to clarify a few points because I feel your response does not accurately reflect my experience. My appointment was at 10:30 a.m., and I left the salon at 4:26 p.m. That is 5 hours and 56 minutes, almost six hours! I agreed to stay longer to give you the opportunity to fix my hair. Please do not suggest that my hair was not properly corrected because I was unwilling to stay, you have the time in the receipt . And you specifically said it will take a few minutes and you applied a toner the second time after saw the situation of the hair. Regarding the payment, I paid $45 for the haircut and $385 for the color service, plus an 18% tip and 9.90$ card fee, which you never mentioned the fee before charging. I specifically requested a refund for the color service only, not the haircut, and I was willing to let you keep the tip. I believe that was a fair request considering the damage to my hair and the unacceptable color result. After I contacted you the following day, you offered me 20% back, excluding the tip, which amounted to $66. I explained that I did not consider this a fair resolution. You then suggested that I return to the salon the next day to solve the problem , which I did. A different stylist spoke with me and acknowledged that my hair was damaged and that the color was uneven even after the toner was applied a second time. Ultimately, I reluctantly agreed to accept $200 back. Regarding my shirt, I only noticed the stains today, which is why I did not mention them during my appointment.

On September 2, 2026, you received two separate services: a $45 haircut and a $285 color service, totaling $330 before gratuity. Your appointment lasted approximately four hours, not six. When you expressed dissatisfaction with your hair color, we offered to make adjustments. However, you explained that you were running late and could not stay. You later contacted us to arrange a follow-up. On September 4, 2026, we met with you, discussed your concerns, and reached a mutually agreed resolution. You accepted the $200 refund and personally signed a written agreement documenting your dissatisfaction with the hair color. At no point during that resolution was any concern about damaged clothing or the other issues now mentioned in your review brought to our attention. More than a month later, we are surprised to see these additional allegations after the matter had been discussed, agreed upon, and documented in writing. I’m a regular client at River Beauty Spa, and I’m so happy to have found Rose! visit every six to eight weeks for root touch-ups and every four to six months to refresh my highlights. She does beautiful work, and my highlights always look beautifully blended. Rose is especially talented with long layers, face-framing pieces, and adding texture. She truly listens to what I want and respects my preference to keep my hair longer. She takes her time, pays attention to every detail, and checks that I’m happy with the length, shape, and color before I leave. You can tell she puts her heart into her work and loves what she does. I also appreciate the ammonia-free color she uses for my root touch-ups, and her shampoo massages are incredibly relaxing! Rose takes care of my whole family—my husband, my child, and me. My husband and child come in every two to three weeks for haircuts, and we all love her work. The salon is clean, organized, and welcoming. Even the bathroom is consistently spotless and smells fresh! Everyone is friendly, and the team works well together. Rose is professional, patient, and passionate about her craft.
