Customers frequently praise the punctuality, professionalism, and attention to detail of the installation crews, noting that staff protect property and clean up thoroughly. The sales process is often described as knowledgeable and low-pressure, with many clients returning for multiple projects. However, negative reviews cite recurring issues with delayed communication after initial estimates and dissatisfaction with warranty terms or perceived high pricing.

David, thank you so much! We love seeing familiar customers come back to us, and we're glad we had the opportunity to work with you again.
We especially appreciate your comments about the care our team took to make sure everything was done right. That's exactly the kind of feedback we love sharing with our crews!

Thank you so much, Val! We love hearing that you're happy with your new storm doors and that both our sales and installation teams made such a great impression.
Whether we're installing a couple of storm doors or replacing every window in a home, we want our customers to have that same great experience. We're so glad that was the case for you!
Thank you for choosing Rochester Colonial, and for taking the time to share your kind words. Enjoy those new doors!
The 2 workmen showed up on time. Got right to work, didn't chit chat, worked up a sweat, no breaks except lunch, cleaned up. An excellent job for this door that was very difficult to install. It opens and closes beautifully. Swings nice, new threshold. We could not be happier. We are a threepeat customer. This is the second door from Rochester Colonial. Many years ago they installed our side door which is still in perfect condition and works as it did when installed. Many years prior to that Rochester Colonial installed some of our upstairs bedroom windows. You get what you pay for. Thank you Rochester Colonial.

Janet, a threepeat customer! We love it! 😊 Thank you so much for continuing to put your trust in Rochester Colonial over the years.
It sounds like this latest door gave our installers a bit of a challenge, but we're so glad they got everything just right! We'll be sure to share your kind words with the crew. And we love hearing that the side door we installed years ago is still working just as well as the day it went in. That's certainly something we're proud to hear!
Thank you for sharing the photos, too! We really appreciate you taking the time to recognize the hard work that went into this project.
Three projects over the years, and you're still happy with the results. We couldn't ask for a better compliment. Thank you again, and enjoy that beautiful new door!
2026:
I had to replace a bedroom window because the seal broke. Earl and Mitch came to my house and without doubt, replaced my window with expertise. They worked quickly and thoroughly. A small problem that cropped up was handled quickly and efficiently. Rochester Colonial is fortunate to have technicians as skilled as Earl and Mitch. I have used Rochester Colonial for years and will continue to do so without hesitation.
I needed to replace my patio door, front windows, and two screen doors. I asked friends and family for references, and every one I asked had only one name to give me: Rochester Colonial. I called called for an estimate. My sales person, Michael, met with me and proceeded to listen to my needs and preferences. He showed me all the possibilities and selections were made. On the day of installation, the crew was on time, proceeded to explain their routine, and began moving my furniture and taking down the window treatments. They were quick, efficient, and extremely cognizant of the safety of my furnishings and home. The skill with which they completed the four installations truly amazed me. They arrived at 8 a.m. and by 2:30 I was enjoying a beautiful breeze from my patio door. Rochester Colonial is, without a doubt, the only place to shop for doors and windows.

Pamela, wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to share all of this, and especially for continuing to trust Rochester Colonial over the years!
First, we'll absolutely make sure Earl and Mitch see your comments. It's wonderful to hear how well they handled your recent window replacement, including that little hiccup along the way. Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, and having a team that knows how to make things right is just as important as getting the job done.
We also love that you've had such positive experiences with our sales and installation teams over the years. And hearing that every friend and family member you asked pointed you in our direction? That's the kind of word-of-mouth recommendation that means the world to a local company like ours!
From helping you choose new doors and windows to being here when something needs attention years later, we're grateful you've continued to count on us.
Thank you again, Pamela. Customers like you are a big part of why we love what we do!
Windows look great. Fantastic service throughout the process. I will only be using them for windows going forward.

Benjamin, thank you! We're so glad you're happy with your new windows and that everything went smoothly along the way.
And hearing that you'll only be coming to Rochester Colonial for windows from now on? We certainly like the sound of that! 😊
We really appreciate your trust in our team, Benjamin. Enjoy those new windows, and we'll be here whenever you're ready for the next project!
We recently had a Custom Infinity Patio Door installed. The men installing the unit were on time, as a matter of fact they arrived 15 minutes early. They made sure our hardwood floors were covered and even draped a plastic cover over our Dining Room light fixture. This was to protect the area from dust and/or debris. They were polite and exceptional with attention to detail. When the job was completed they removed all debris even to the point of cleaning the glass in the new patio door and sweeping the floor. The entire process, from shopping and learning about the different patio doors from our Sales Consultant Chris Gionta to purchasing and installation- the entire experience was perfection!!
Thank you Rochester Colonial.

Thank you again, Karen, for choosing Rochester Colonial and for taking the time to recognize our team. Enjoy that beautiful new door!
Recently, my wife and I had the windows and doors in our home replaced, and we were extremely pleased with our experience with Rochester Colonial. Our first visit to their showroom was on a snowy day in March, where we were assisted by Phil Gionta, our salesperson. We were highly impressed by Phil's extensive knowledge and his thorough presentation of the various window and door options available to us. The Rochester Colonial showroom itself is well-designed, allowing us to see and explore the specific windows and doors in which we were interested.
The installation process is the most critical aspect of purchasing windows and doors, and the installers, Jake and Chad, exceeded all expectations. They were exceptional professionals—arriving promptly each day, demonstrating top-notch craftsmanship, and maintaining a friendly and personable demeanor throughout the project. Jake and Chad took the time to explain their daily plans, treated our property with the utmost respect, and ensured everything was thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. Rochester Colonial truly stands out by offering a superior product paired with outstanding customer service.

Edward, thank you so much! We love that you remember your first visit to our showroom on that snowy day. We're certainly glad you braved the weather to come see us!
We're happy to hear Phil was so helpful in walking you through the options. Replacing all the windows and doors in your home is a big decision, and having the opportunity to see everything in person and ask questions can make all the difference.
And what a great shout-out to Jake and Chad! We know how important the installation is, especially on a project this size. It's wonderful to hear they kept you informed, respected your home, and made the whole process a pleasant one. We'll absolutely make sure all three of them see your comments.
Thank you to you and your wife for trusting Rochester Colonial with your home. We truly appreciate the kind words and hope you're both loving all those new windows and doors!
Rochester Colonial did fantastic work! We love our new doors and are getting lots of compliments on their look. They were punctual and cleaned up after them selves. We are just sorry we didn't get the new doors and windows sooner. Highly recommend.
