I had quartz countertops installed by Rock-It Surfaces. Steven the owner, is a model example of how a business should be run. I emailed him photos with dimensions of my countertop and he came back to me with a quote within 2 hours with a price range depending on the quality of the quartz. I then visited his shop to look at some quartz choices. He had a suggestion of cutting down my Pony Wall/Bar Bench which did not change the price much because the cost of cutting down the wall was offset by less quartz material. The result was a huge 134 x 43" peninsula which looks impressive and really opens up the kitchen and family room. I then went back and forth a few times via email on pricing for different quartz choices after I visited Arizona Tile. Each time, email response was within a few hours. His demo crew did a good job and even preserved some pieces for me that I wanted to use to repair my bathroom. They also took care taking out the 6" backsplash tile so their is no damage to patch for my new backsplash. The install crew was awesome. I cannot find a flaw anywhere. It is completely level, pattern matched between sections and the one seam is only visible if I bend my head down to look at it. They also cleaned the countertop, inside the cabinets and the floors before leaving.

My wife loves creative cooking and we wanted to get a bulletproof Dekton countertop material that also looks great, so we searched extensively for fabricators with deep experience. Steven and his team delivered exactly that, consulting with us patiently on the details of choosing the right layout and sink combination and then doing an exceptional job demolishing the old tile countertops followed by careful installation of the new Dekton. The installers Pat and Alex were highly skilled and professional, unlike subcontractor installers we had from other fabricator companies in the past.

I am beyond pleased with my beautiful quartz and the excellent customer service I received. I had a challenging kitchen and a bar area that had to be cut down as well as a usual corner sink. Not only was the quartz better looking than I remembered, Pat and Alex did an outstanding install and helped me with a few little other things. I had a countertop installed by Rock-It in Oct 2021. I did not know a lot about countertops when I started my replacement effort, but after learning about the various fabrication options and speaking to a few fabricators, I was convinced that the Rock-It 3cm approach to countertop fabrication was a superior way to produce a countertop. Steve, the owner, provided excellent information on materials and the fabrication process and Pat and Taylor finished the project with a quality installation. I'm happy with the results and enjoyed working with the Rock-It team. I would highly recommend Rock-It to anyone seeking a countertop fabrication and install.

The team at Rock-It did a fantastic job with our new counter tops. We ordered a white quartz with light veining and it looks absolutely amazing. We had a couple of tricky issues in our installation and they met each of our needs completely. They use a high tech laser measuring device to template the counters with exactness and the end result is a near perfect fit. I highly recommend using Rock-It.

From start to finish Rock It was fantastic. I am so happy I chose this company for my countertop. The owner Steven was on top of the job every step of the way. His advice was spot on and I love my new island countertop. The installers were neat and professional. You will not be disappointed if you choose Rock It for your countertops.

We needed an island top, picked a piece of granite from their yard, and by the end of the week it was installed, just as we wanted. Could not ask for more.

If you’re considering new countertops, I can’t say enough good things about Rock-It Surfaces in San Marcos. Steven (the owner) and his team delivered a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. What really impressed me right away was Steven’s process. I started with a simple sketch and a few kitchen photos, and he was able to turn that into a clear, detailed initial quote. From there, he made it incredibly easy to compare different quartz options across manufacturers. He has this great pricing chart that breaks everything down by quartz grade, so you always know exactly what your cost will be. It honestly felt more like buying a piece of furniture—choose your “material level,” and the pricing is transparent. I haven’t seen anyone else do it this way. When it came time for demo, I was a little nervous because I had existing marble countertops—but Patrick and Alex absolutely nailed it. They removed everything carefully without damaging the cabinets, and their cleanup was spotless. You could tell right away these guys take pride in their work. After fabrication on their CNC machines, Patrick and Alex returned for installation—and again, top-notch work. Super professional, polite, and detail-oriented. The seams are so well done you really have to look to find them. The caulking is flawless—seriously, it looks machine-perfect. One other thing I really appreciated: Rock-It uses 3CM quartz, so there’s no need for a plywood base. That gives the edges a much cleaner, more polished look and really elevates the final result. Overall, this was one of the smoothest, most professional home improvement experiences I’ve had. Exceptional craftsmanship, great communication, and a process that actually makes sense. I highly recommend Rock-It Surfaces—you won’t be disappointed.
