Customers frequently praise Roell Painting for professional crews, clear communication, and competitive pricing on interior and exterior projects. Reviewers highlight punctuality, careful preparation, and the ability to handle complex jobs like cabinet refinishing or siding repairs. However, some low-star reviews cite errors such as painting weather stripping or J-channel, damaging property, and unresponsive scheduling or estimate follow-ups.

We recently started a 'refresh' of our older St. Paul home starting with complete hardwood floor refinishing and followed by complete Roell's painting of four rooms, hallway, and multiple closets. Our two unconditionals were to start later on our schedule following the floors, and protect the new floors at all costs. Danielle understood this from the start and worked with us on timing, colors, and added great advice on managing older hinges, doorknobs, and registers. Jason guided the crew's work and priorities, and the crew led by Jose expertly repaired, prepped, and painted all millwork, windows, ceilings, doors and walls. From start to finish, this company took care in our home, tolerated our comings and goings while displaced, responded to our point-outs, and professionally completed work that even previous contractors left in substandard condition. We'll certainly have them back when we tackle our remaining projects!

After we had new Anderson windows installed, we needed them stained/finished. An art in of itself, Roell Painting came through with flying colors. From my first conversation with Scott, then Jason, Javier and Fernando, to the end of the project, the Roell crew made sure we were happy and satisfied with their work. Professional and a pleasant experience all around.
I recently had my whole interior of my townhouse painted....I was so pleased with not only the outcome, but the communication and friendliness of all the staff as well. Such a great experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you Roell!

ONE WOULD EXPECT A PROFESSIONAL PAINTER TO HAVE THE CORRECT KNOWLEDGE!
The weather stripping and perimeter seal around the garage doors should never have been painted. Painting it causes the material to curl back, leaving an approximately half-inch gap around the entire perimeter of the garage door. This allows air, sunlight, dirt, wind, bugs, and potentially mice to enter the garage and affect the surrounding units.
We are very upset and disappointed being blown off by jason to this ongoing garage issue. This is not a problem that can wait until the damage or costs become worse. The issue is currently affecting the surrounding units, including four nearby units, and it appears likely to continue causing problems throughout the property if it is not addressed immediately. Their is a HUGE communication gap between the company and their employees that no hablo English and we are told as homeowners not to talk to them. So the job is not done correctly and will continue to damage all other units in our association.
Exterior painting of 2 story house with siding repair and 2 car metal garage. All was completed and done properly and professionally. Was always kept informed of progress.
