My son spent three summers at Rose Hill and had the best time! He was constantly busy with something interesting and fun. Everyone who works there was very nice and I felt confident that he was well taken care of. They are extremely flexible and easy to deal with. I give my highest recommendation!

I have been fortunate to send two kids to rose hill. It is a very warm and creative space that lets kids be kids. Craig and his staff are very caring and supportive. Both of my kids grew so much while at rose hill becoming more creative, thoughtful and lively while also developing great relationships with their peers and teachers

We were incredibly lucky to have found this place! My wife and I were looking for months for a pre-school for our son and felt like we were just not comfortable leaving him anywhere until we found Rose Hill Montessori. You will know the moment you walk into that school it is different in the best possible way. Craig and Robert, along with all of the INCREDIBLE teachers and staff, have created such a playful, imaginative and inclusive environment for all of the children to thrive, no matter their background or interests. Every day that I picked up my son, he had such a full mind and a hop in his step, and he couldn't wait to tell me all of his adventures of the day. They also have a full playground and outdoor area within the building which gives parents a peace of mind that they are never leaving the confines of the building. If you are a parent looking in the area, check it out!

I cannot recommend Rosehill Montessori enough. During the time that my daughter was there, there was never a moment that I felt that she was not taken care of or learning or that we as parents were not supported in our goals for our daughters growth and welfare. We toured a number of places but the curriculum, warmth and credentials of Mr. Craig and the facility itself made us choose Rosehill. It has ample light, well ventilated and two outdoor spaces on the property for the kids which is hard to find in the city. It was a joy to watch photos of the day and see children engrossed in their activities. I loved that the curriculum focused on fostering creativity and included lots of art and music to encourage learning. My daughter grew leaps and bounds during her time there. She joined when she barely spoke a few words and within a few months was speaking clearly in full sentences and would sing songs that she learned in school all day and make us do circle time at home on weekends. She still does that although we unfortunately had to move to another school. This is so important- the way they teach, stays with the kids! The teachers are responsive, caring, makes learning fun and ohh how the big morning hugs calmed my child at drop offs. Thank you to all the teachers- Miss Nilu, Shakera, Allison and Mr. Craig and Roberts and all the other staff that were like family. You are so amazing and Rosehill will always hold a special place in our hearts. If anyone is reading this review and trying to determine if this is the place for your child- it absolutely is. Rosehill was one the best decisions we made for our family.

We had a positive experience at Rose Hill. The atmosphere was always warm and friendly, and the teachers were attentive, kind, and caring with the children. Communication with the school was easy, and we always felt welcomed as a family. It is a nurturing environment for young children, with a strong sense of community.

We’ve had such a lovely experience in Rose Hill Montessori, i choose this school because of mr Craig, he has created a wonderful playful and a heartwarming experience for my daughter, she’s thriving, she’s so happy and always looking forward to going to school everyday, she’s a very curious kid and the place is just perfect for her, also a huge thanks to all the teachers taking care of all the kids, especially miss Nilu, my daughter loves her and talks non stop about her, If we could only stay in Rose Hill forever but we are moving out sadly, ill never forget how this place made my daughter loves school, it will forever be her first school, and how she easily blended in. Warmest recommendations.

We loved our time at Rose Hill so much, and are only leaving because we are moving out of the city! Craig, Mr. Robert and the teachers are incredibly warm and genuinely invested in the kids. Our son has grown so much in confidence, independence, and curiosity, and we always felt that he was well cared for. The environment is nurturing and truly reflects the best of the Montessori philosophy. We are so grateful for the community and would highly recommend the school to any family!

Rose Hill Montessori has meant so much more to our family than simply being a school. We first got to know Craig and the Rose Hill community when our son was an infant attending Saturday baby music classes, a full year before he eventually started in the 2s program. From there, Craig and the entire team came to know him, love him, and celebrate exactly who he is. When he entered Early Intervention, his teachers became some of the most important partners in his growth and in helping him reach developmental milestones. So much of the progress we saw happened because of the extraordinary patience, creativity, warmth, and genuine investment of his teachers and this community. Every detail of this community experience matters to them. Even the school photos somehow exceeded expectations. Our toddler looked like he was ready to update his LinkedIn headshot 😂. It was beyond cute. There is something incredibly rare about a school where you can feel, without question, that the people caring for your child truly love them, and we felt that every single day. Rose Hill has been such a joyful and formative part of his childhood and of our family’s story, and we carry enormous gratitude for Craig, all of the teachers, and this wonderful community!

I would recommend Rose Hill Montessory enthusiastically both online and, most importantly, in person to all my acquaintances, neighbors, coworkers and friends. My child attended this school for almost two years until we moved out of NYC and I consider it one of our best finds of our time in the city. Rose Hill Montessory is the closest thing to leaving your child under the care of a family member, but with the added bonus of socialization with peers and expert guidance in learning. This is not a franchise, not a "factory-style" daycare: it is a genuine close-knitt community where your child and you will feel seen and heard. From the teachers to the director, everybody is approachable and involved. The activities the kids do foster their creativity and music and art are a main focus. The facilities also deserve to be highlighted, particularly the natural light and airiness of the inside spaces and the two private outdoor playgrounds (the kids get to spend a lot of time outside without the risk involved in the walk to a public park or encouters with strangers there). I am very glad we found a school where my child could learn and make friends in a nurturing environment. Rose Hill Montessory was exactly what I had hoped for and became my very demanding standard when looking for a new school for my child.
