Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Our household had a rough four days this week, beginning Thursday morning with a sewer backup that affected our laundry room, bathroom, and family room. Thankfully, Roto-Rooter responded quickly, with a technician arriving within 90 minutes of our call.<br><br>Unfortunately, our sewer cleanout had a reducing fitting that prevented their equipment from getting through. We needed a plumber to remove it before Roto-Rooter could continue, which meant waiting another 24 hours. During that time, both the dispatcher and Lenard, the technician, kept in contact with us to coordinate their return.<br><br>Once the plumber removed the fitting, I called Lenard, and he was back at our house within 30 minutes. Unfortunately, he encountered another blockage that he couldn’t get through. He took the time to explain the possible causes and arranged for a camera technician to investigate further.<br><br>While this was happening, a member of Roto-Rooter’s cleanup and evaluation team arrived to assess the affected areas using specialized sensors and an infrared camera. He explained our cleanup options, including what would be involved if we chose to handle the cleanup ourselves.<br><br>Tony, the camera technician, personally explained the situation and the findings to my wife in person while also keeping me informed over FaceTime. He walked us through the problem, explained what needed to be done, and helped us understand our options. The diagnosis was that our backyard would need to be excavated and the sewer line dug up for repairs. Tony coordinated the arrangements Saturday afternoon and told us they could have a crew out Sunday or Monday.<br><br>Fortunately, the repair team arrived Sunday morning. Roberto and Stuart did an excellent job keeping my wife informed throughout the process. They clearly explained the steps they were taking to repair our sewer pipes and helped us understand what was happening as the work progressed. They were also careful and respectful of our property while bringing in the small backhoe, taking the necessary steps to reduce the impact on the yard. Their communication and professionalism gave us confidence that the problem was being handled properly. By mid-afternoon, the repairs were complete, and we had a functioning sewer line again!<br><br>Although this was a stressful and inconvenient experience, we were extremely satisfied with the professionalism, communication, and service provided by everyone at Roto-Rooter. From the initial response and troubleshooting to the evaluation, cleanup guidance, and final repairs, each team member took the time to explain the situation, discuss our options, and coordinate the next steps.<br><br>A special thank-you to Lenard, Tony, Roberto, Stuart, and the entire Roto-Rooter team for their outstanding service. Their responsiveness, teamwork, and willingness to keep us informed made a difficult situation much easier to manage. We truly appreciate everything they did to get us back up and running, and we would highly recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone facing a plumbing emergency!
