Very kind and friendly staff! The selection is great and they have lots of options the chain pet stores don’t often carry.

One staff member was just screaming at another at the register, making me and the only other customer the store uncomfortable. Couldn’t really tell if it was an argument or play, but people bring their pets into the store and that could set off a dog. I put my purchases back and left immediately.

Awesome store, from staff to owner. They have variety of dog food, high quality and specialty diets non prescription (my dog has CKD) . VERY PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL, AND ACOMODATING. I would definitely come back to this store. Keep up the great work! Thank you guys

Best pet store in Chicago! Staff is amazing and they have a great selection of reasonable prices UPDATE: been coming here for years now and I cannot recommend these guys enough. I just had the most disappointing experience with this store. I ordered my dog some Saltsox, and when I went to pick them up in store the next day after the order was confirmed, the item was not pulled from the shelf and actually ended up being out of stock. It was especially frustrating for the order to be confirmed to only find out from the sales associate, James, who went to pull the item when I came to pick it up and couldn’t find it. It makes no sense to me why the store confirmed my order when the item was out of stock, especially since the sales associates were sitting around and chit chatting when I came in store. A heads up about the item not being in stock would’ve been nice, but James told us “they were busy yesterday” so there wasn’t time… I was in the store at 2:45pm, so it seems like if they had plenty of time to stand around and chat today, then they had plenty of time to fulfill my order and alert me if there were any issues with doing so. When I requested my refund, I was told that it wasn’t going to happen since nobody was in store that could do it, and when I pressed do my money to be returned to me for an item I am not going to receive, I was told to take my white privilege out of the store. I’m flabbergasted by this response since it is customer’s business supporting the store and consequently giving that person a job. I will never be going back to this store again and implore others to do the same.

SUPER welcoming staff and the products are always great! Wide variety and it’s a local business, what more could you want?
