We honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Windi from Run to an Elopement. She went above and beyond for us and we are beyond grateful that she was the one to marry us. She created the most beautiful ceremony for us that felt so personal to our love story. You can tell so much thought and care are behind the words she writes. Right before the ceremony, when nerves and excitement were at an all-time high, she not only led us through a grounding meditation that helped us center ourselves, breathe, and truly be present in the moment, but she was there for the small moments - helping Destiny put her veil in, fanning her while tears filled her eyes, and even providing Altoids at the perfect moment. It was an incredible touch that set such a calm, beautiful tone for the rest of the day. Windi is exceptionally personable, warm, and genuine. She took the time to truly get to know us, which made our ceremony feel deeply personal, intimate, and authentic to who we are. When rainy conditions forced us to pivot our plans, she handled everything with such calm, thoughtfulness, and professionalism that we never once felt stressed. She helped us embrace the change instead of fear it, and truly made the day feel just as magical as we imagined. What stood out most was how intentional and personal she was while helping us write our vows. She took the time to understand the uniqueness of our relationship and helped us incorporate poignant, meaningful statements that genuinely reflected who we are as a couple. Nothing felt generic or rushed. Every detail felt deeply personal and cared for. Windi brought warmth, creativity, flexibility, and heart into every part of our experience. We are so grateful for her guidance and support on one of the most important days of our lives.

Hiring Windi was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Her energy and expertise shined throughout the whole process. There are no words to express how AMAZING Windi is both as a human & an officiant. When planning our wedding, my partner and I of a decade knew we wanted the ceremony to be a huge & extremely important part of the day. We were worried about finding the right person to curate this experience with a mix of unique and traditional aspects we envisioned, and prioritized finding someone who wanted to learn our story in order to tell it to everyone on our wedding day. That worry completely disappeared the moment we met Windi. The care, intention, and heart that Windi puts into her work is abundant and inspiring. We adored the questions she asked about our love story, and felt extremely supported in exploring the different unity rituals and other traditions that can be woven into a ceremony that we knew we wanted. Our wedding party was very large & across ages and Windi only celebrated this, ensuring everything & everyone would be included and understand what was happening in the rehearsal with the upmost care & passion. Our ring blessing with Windi leading up to the wedding, and our ceremony in which she led and held the space for, are some of our most treasured memories from the entire wedding experience. Windi made our biggest, love-honoring dreams come true! All of our guests kept asking us if we had known Windi for years because of the way she told our story. They would not stop raving about how magical the ceremony was!! We were told on multiple occasions it was the best ceremony they have ever witnessed (thank you Windi!!!) Although we only knew her for about a year during the planning, it quickly felt like we had known her since the beginning of our love story. Everything she did, she did with care and expertise. I actually got a ton of comments from friends and family afterwards about how incredible of an officiant she is!
