I can’t recommend Ginger highly enough. I’ve been working with her for over two years on my weight‑loss and overall health journey, and what she offers goes far beyond generic diet advice. Ginger understands that sustainable weight loss is complex—it’s about nutrition, exercise, sleep, mental health, habits, and the psychology behind how and why we eat.
Throughout our work together, Ginger has helped me understand my patterns around food, especially emotional eating and using food as both a reward and a comfort. Instead of judgment or quick fixes, she’s helped me build awareness and practical strategies that actually work in real life. On days when I’ve felt frustrated or discouraged, she’s consistently been there to keep me grounded and moving forward.
Her approach is thoughtful and science‑based. From encouraging consistent, realistic exercise (and helping me understand why daily movement mattered so much for my body) to suggesting tools like meal services and nutrition shakes when life got busy, Ginger has an incredible ability to meet you where you are and adapt the plan to your life—not the other way around.
Progress with Ginger has been slow, steady, and real—and that’s the point. I’m healthier, stronger, more active, and more aware of my body and habits than I’ve ever been. This isn’t a yo‑yo diet; it’s lasting change.
If you’re looking for a coach who is knowledgeable, empathetic, patient, and genuinely invested in your long‑term success, Ginger is exceptional. I’m truly grateful for her guidance and support.

Thank you so much for the very thoughtful and kind words! I'm so happy that you are doing well!
Working with Ginger has been genuinely life-changing. I knew the results from quick fixes never last and that a one-size-fits-all solution wasn't going to work for me. Working with Ginger has been so validating. Turns out typical solutions actually won't work for my body. Ginger helped me crack the code, learn the unique needs of my body, and it was like a switch flipped. Finally my body responded to the work I was doing. Knowing how my body works and what it needs seems like such a basic part of being human, but I think so many of us spend so much time and money chasing what works for everyone else while never really learning anything more than a bunch of random rules for each program. Ginger taught me the science that programs like that are built on and how to make the science work for me in a lasting way.

This is incredibly meaningful to me! I love how empowered you feel! I want my patients to feel in-control of their own body and their own health. Thank you!!
I had a frustrating experience here. I voiced my decision to be plant based before I came in and asked if the dietician would honor that and she said she would. When I met with her she did not support that. She wasn’t on board with a plant based diet and I wish she had been upfront about that before I came in. I asked her if she had read up on the current research about plant-based diets and she had not. Current nutrition guidelines are clear that you can get complete nutrition with a plant based diet plus some supplements. I came in for help finding the right ratios of food, the correct portions etc. I was hoping the dietician there would respect my values and reasons to be plant-based and work with me in that decision. She didn’t, even after stating on the phone beforehand that she could. It felt like a waste of time. I contacted the owner about the experience and she was defensive and didn’t seem to see the problem. She told me they were the experts and I should listen to them. Seems like it should go both ways. I don’t want to eat food that genuinely doesn’t make me feel well and doesn’t align with my values. Wouldn’t recommend for plant based people.

As per our previous conversations, I apologize that you didn't get the experience you were hoping for. As I explained, we are not anti-plant based eating. We have to evaluate each patient's case individually to analyze what they are doing, and then explain if they are missing something important in their diet that could impede them from reaching their health goals. There is no way for us to know before someone comes in if what the person is doing is appropriate for them or not — this is why we do such a rigorous assessment on the first visit. When we provide feedback to patients, including yourself, it is to help them, not criticize what they are doing. If we see gaps in someone's nutrition because of how they are eating, it is our job to provide education on how to improve their nutritional status. That doesn't mean we are anti-plant-based eating. People come to us because they aren't reaching their nutrition goals with what they are currently doing. Our job is to show them where they can make changes to reach those goals. This is what we attempted to do for you. You may not like the information you were provided, but that doesn't make it wrong or inaccurate. Registered Dietitians have to complete a masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited university, complete a 1200 hour internship, and pass a standardized national exam. It is to your advantage to listen to the advice we provide because we have spent many years learning about nutrition and sifting through confusing medical research so that you don't have to.
My husband found Ginger for me when I was suffering from medical issues that had been causing me stress, confusion about what exactly to eat to heal and rapid weight loss. I’m soo glad he did because Ginger was able to figure out what I needed to do to get my digestive system back on track, gave me lots of helpful information and ideas on different food choices that I was actually excited to try and will continue to follow even after my medical issues are taken care of. I also appreciate how kind and understanding she was and really took the time to listen to my concerns. Definitely recommend her to others!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I am so grateful I was able to help!
JaNae Kinikin is fantastic! She listened to my goals, asked questions about my needs, was patient about the the demands on my time and focus, and offered advice, resources and education at my level and speed.
She worked so well with me! I met with her regularly over a year and her patience and understanding kept me from giving up. Each time we met she made sure I had clearly defined goals I could achieve before we next met that helped build up to my beginning goal.
Also, she billed my insurance. I would highly recommend her to any one who wants to eat better and isn't getting there on their own.
Ginger is so amazing to work with! Her personalized approach was refreshing and I felt as though all of my concerns were heard. She has so many ways to help you and it's great to go somewhere and feel inpowered rather then shamed or brushed off like you would at a doctor's office.

I'm so glad you feel that way! Thank you for the kind words!
Ginger is amazing! She has made a plan for me to be able to figure out what could be wrong and how to fix it. I’ve been lost trying to figure it out on my own. Now I have a direction and a meal plan. I can never thank her enough! She goes above and beyond to help.
I worked with Jessica and was so happy I did. I went in nervous that I would be told I had to turn my whole diet upside down. Instead I was given simple advise to enjoy eating but be mindful about it. I got tips and tricks of how to incorporate healthy options but not to stress if I didn't always make the best choice. I now listen to how my body feels after eating certain foods and it is easier for me to start to pick better options.
I went to see Ginger after my Dr. put me on a limited diet for an issue I was having. Very quickly Ginger figured out what I needed to do to correct this problem. She has taught me how to eat properly while exercising. I am consuming more food than I ever have without sacrificing the foods I love and I am taking off pounds that I have had trouble getting rid of for 25 years. If you are having medical issues or just want to learn to eat properly go see Ginger. Thanks Ginger

Thank you so much!! I’m very happy that you are feeling better!
I’ve been seeing Jessica here for a little over a year and she has helped me more than I could have ever imagined. I liked her so much I recommended my wife to see her and she also loved Jessica’s take on everything. She has really helped me understand what a healthy relationship with food looks like. I’ve struggled with so many diets, and being really restrictive with food. Jessica has taught me how unsustainable that is, and has helped me stop labeling foods as “good,” and “bad.” I am excited to continue learning from her.
