My husband is restoring an old BMW motorcycle sent to him by his family in Switzerland. He needed a clamp that secures the exhaust header pipe to the engine repaired. The clamp was forced out of shape at one time long ago and had subsequently broken. He took it to Saltey Dogg to hopefully get repaired. He showed the repaired clamp to me afterward and commented he had only seen this level of welding one other time, when a pilot acquaintance had built an airplane for his wife in his home. The welds were so perfect, he told me, it was difficult to believe this man had actually welded the joints of the airframe by hand, and my husband told me that the repair done on the clamp for his motorcycle looked equally as perfect. My husband offers his highest recommendation to anybody considering any kind of metal working project to first visit Saltey Dogg for their project. He has seen none better, in his experience, and thanks the folks at Saltey Dogg for the extremely high quality repair on his clamp. An appropriate description for this repair, according to my husband, is "ne plus ultra" - none better.

Needed an aluminum bar with mlok slots specifically made for me. Salty Dog was recommended by Valkrie to make what I needed. Picked my part up today and it was made exactly to what specs I had sent Salty Dog. It should work out exactly as intended and they had it made within a day after confirming with me. Very good place to do business with. Communication was good as well through email.

I had a concept of an idea for fabricating an outdoor table base, but I wasn’t sure how to execute it. I sketched a rudimentary plan. I left messages with many different fabricating shops. No one even called back. Then I called Saltey Dogg Metal Fabricators. They answered the phone and had me speak to Dwayne. He patiently asked the right questions and was able to take my fuzzy plan and fabricate the base I visualized in a most timely manner. Hands down this was the best experience ever. I think he could create anything with metal. He’s the best. I definitely will use him again and I’m already coming up with new ideas. I had a very small job I'm sure as far as a metal fabrication shop. Wayne made me feel as if my small job was as important as any of his big jobs. I've been married 57 years, on our 25th my husband gave me a weather vane. Over our many years in the USMC it has been attached to many fences. It was broke on this move to Albuquerque. Saltydogg Metal Fabrication repaired it and we have the weather vane up again. Thank you, you have no idea what this meant to us.
