Reviewers highlight scenic hiking trails, panoramic views, and clean facilities, noting the $6 entrance fee and friendly staff. A recurring criticism involves unclear signage regarding Radio Road's weekend-only vehicle access, which led some visitors to feel their ticket purchase was wasted. Additional complaints mention the strict no-dog policy and limited restroom availability on certain trails.

We are visiting the area from out of state and we wanted to drive up radio road, when we bought the $6 ticket at the gatehouse there was nothing there saying on the gatehouse that radio Road is only open on weekends. Then we got up to the closed gate and we basically felt like we wasted our money. That's not fair to tourists and visitors. We gave our pass to another person in line at the gatehouse to pay it forward, but we weren't pleased.
Nice park.

The California State Annual Passes are NOT accepted here. According to the ranger, who was kind and informative, the park is ran by the county despite it showing up as a state park on Google. Still worth the $6 entrance fee though. Clean bathrooms, well maintained, ample parking, and good selection of easy trails.
The park offers scenic views of San Francisco Skyline

Cleanest Park Bathrooms I've Ever Seen. Good Work
Beautiful place to take a walk. Well maintained trails and picnic area. Excellent views on the Saddle Trail. Clean bathrooms. Very friendly rangers. It can be very windy so be prepared with a jacket.
Absolutely beautiful, nice ranger, $6 parking, no dogs, 4 star
Quiet getaway from the city din.
A good view of the area with a nice walking trail
