Beautiful and rememberable. Wish the zoo, which claims to be a conservation organization, would prioritize reducing waste and would not assume to print pictures following the bus tour.
San Diego Zoo
San Diego Zoo at a glance
Reviewers describe the San Diego Zoo as a large, well-designed facility suitable for all ages, noting that visitors can spend several hours exploring diverse animal exhibits and utilizing free bus tours. Common themes highlight the extensive walking required across steep terrain and the availability of online maps to navigate the grounds. A recurring criticism involves high costs, with multiple reviewers citing expensive parking fees, pricey food and beverage options, and additional charges for amenities like strollers, which some feel diminish the overall value of the visit.

Expensive and too much walking. Elephant restaurant was trash. Plus the elephants were social distancing.

I wouldn’t recommend going on a hot day, but it’s a huge zoo, so the kids will never get bored! The gorillas seemed completely used to the crowd and were so much fun to watch—they kept putting on a show with all kinds of funny behaviors.
