Reviewers highlight the opportunity to view animals like elephants and lions up close via trams and walking paths, noting the park's expansive vegetation and family-friendly amenities. Recurring themes include high admission and food costs, significant walking distances, and limited animal visibility in certain enclosures. A common criticism involves poor park layout and signage, which makes navigating to specific exhibits difficult for visitors.

Came here about two years ago and thought it was lovely. Came back and enjoyed it all over again. The vegetation is beautiful, you can get very close to the animals, it's a great place to spend the day. I will return.
1000 dollars with entrance for 4 and a tour. The entire lower part of the park is a maze. Nearly zero signage to get to main attractions like Gorillas or Lions. Apparently after walking in cirles a half hour, the lions are only accessible via an elevator? Ridiculous place. Never coming back. I've been to a lot of well designed zoos, this is terribly laid out. Avoid.
The safari park definitely needs more animals, there was a noticable ammount of enclosures that were empty or that had very few animals to see. The tour of the savanna was especially low in animals in comparison to how it used to be when it was The Wild Animal Park. But the park is still beautiful with its new attractions. The most concerning part of out time spent there was at the Ona Lounge, which provides an adults only experience above the Mkutano House dining area. The appetizers and drinks were very good and were enjoyed with a balcony view of the Elephant Valley enclosure, but the main courses due to the resticted menu options were less than enjoyable. There are only 6 options available and they arent as vegan/vegetarian/lactose free as the rest of the menu available in the downstairs dining area. The main courses we chose were the Seasonal salads with chicken only to find out the chicken doesnt even come freshly cooked, the upstairs kitchen i guess only allows the staff to prepare food and not cook and the food was also very bland. I think that if guests are going to play $10 extra per person to sit away from the loud main dining room it should come with full menu availability considering that there is an access elevator for staff to use. Its was a fun experience if you want to just go have drinks and enjoy a quiet view of the elephants but if youre looking to have an actual meal the Mkutano House is the place for that. Overall I give it a 7 out of 10.⁰
