School of Rock Towson has helped improve my son's aptitude and skill playing guitar and bass by leaps and bounds. The teachers are kind, engaging and talented and always willing to go the extra step to help the children.

I did a camp called “90’s rock” one of the instructors named “Linda” was very rude. Proceeded to tell me “after camp I’m going to beat you up outside” and proceeded to yell at me and target me many times by yelling at me to “shut up” or plainly just yelling at me. There was no structure on explain music they’d tell you to do something and completely stop helping you and expect to remember and know what your doing. Just felt very unprofessional and had no structure. Not coming back here again.

Love this place!!!!! I went for singing lessons as an adult for a year and then took a 6 month break. Longest 6 months of my life because I was so bored. Signed up again for drums and am loving it! Everyone is super nice and talented and knows what they're talking about. Perfect place for all skill types. No notes!

My son has been doing School of Rock for seven years now and we love it. He has enjoyed his instructors and being part of a band that performs at public venues.

This is an excellent way for kids and teens to build confidence, play music they like, experience real stages and audiences. The instructors and staff are 10/10. The only thing that I would change is to have some sort of tuition assistance for lower income families. This is a bit pricey, and the knowledge they gain helps these kids apply for musical programs in high schools and colleges. I would fundraise for it if I could, but for now we can only do one season a year anymore.

Excellent opportunity to learn new instrument or vocals. The summer camp had excellent instructors who really taught "science " of music and detail of performance.

The SOR Baltimore is an absolute wonderful program for kids and adults who want to learn how to play an instrument or learn singing skills. Anyone can go to regular music lessons and learn how to play but the School of Rock lets them take those skills they learned and do something with it. Ultimately they learn how to play with others in a band. It’s the coolest thing! they get to play with others who also have musical talent and work towards a goal which is the performance show and if your really good they have a house band that play together regularly at music venues. It’s every budding musicians dream. It’s so cool! Highly recommend. The staff are all amazing and knowledgeable and we have had nothing but a wonderful and positive experience.
