Our daughter has been a student at School of Rock Lee’s Summit for the past four years, and we truly can’t say enough good things about this place. She actually got started through one of their summer camps, and what we thought would be a fun week of music turned into a passion that’s become a huge part of her life. Four years later, she’s still excited to walk through those doors every week. One of the things we appreciate most is how welcoming and encouraging everyone is. Our daughter isn’t naturally the most outgoing person, but the instructors have always made her feel included, challenged her to step outside of her comfort zone, and helped her build confidence both on and off the stage. They’ve never tried to change who she is—they’ve simply helped bring out the best in her. As parents who love music, it’s been incredible to watch her grow as both a musician and a performer. She’s learned so much over the years, but even more importantly, she’s gained confidence, made lasting friendships, and found a place where she truly belongs. She recently attended another summer camp after taking a few years off from them, and it reminded us why we fell in love with School of Rock in the first place. In just five days, she learned multiple new songs, challenged herself in ways we didn’t expect, and came home every afternoon smiling and excited to tell us about her day. School of Rock Lee’s Summit is so much more than a music school. It’s a community that genuinely cares about its students and helps them grow as musicians, performers, and people. If you’re considering lessons or camps for your child, we couldn’t recommend School of Rock Lee’s Summit more. The impact they’ve had on our daughter over the last four years is something our family will always be grateful for.

Rob, the general manager, consistently provides a truly welcoming, friendly, and warm atmosphere. Our child is excited about their Saturday classes and leaves beaming with a smile! Dane, the instructor, demonstrates exceptional patience and gentleness with the students, ensuring a solid foundation in basic music theory for everyone. Even in the introductory class, we've observed a noticeable improvement in our child's ability to maintain a steady beat on their home drum set. This place is the best! My son loves his drum classes, and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Every instructor is not only a great teacher, but they visibly care about their students and their success. They’ve taught so much more to my kid than just how to play his instrument better. They encourage and support him in trying new things, guide him on how to be part of a team and have given him a place he feels he belongs.

Enrolling in private and group lessons here has been one of the most fun things I’ve done as an adult and watching my kids do it too has been equally fun and rewarding. Highly recommend this place if you’ve ever been interested in music playing a larger role in your life!
