Schumacher Homes of Louisville, KY

We started our purchase in December 2025, and just closed in August 2025, I highly recommend if buying a house from Schumacher in this area, you will have the greatest service and an awesome General Manager that looks over all the necessary details Floyd McGovern was an absolute professional and joy to work with, and very knowledgeable during our build. Not one detail was left out. Although when going through your design phase make sure they tell you what is standard and what is an upgrade compared to the model home you may be looking at. The Louisville office also has many great people as well which helped through picking out all the cabinets, hardware, flooring, lighting etc., we love the house and have as many upgrades as you could possibly get. Hardware, flooring, cabinets are all top of the line! You will never be left out on any part of the build from the land walk all the way through closing. Highly Recommended!

Floyd and his team are incredible people. Very professional in every way and easy to partner with and work with. Would highly recommend for your home buying needs!

Schumacher Homes of Louisville built our home in Bedford, KY. We absolutely love it. It is so well built and the building team were extremely responsive to all our concerns and/or changes that we wanted (even at the last minute). They go out of their way to build where you want to build, even if they don’t currently build in that county. We highly recommend them if you want to build a new home from scratch. Melissa (our builder), Floyd (Louisville general manager) and the rest of the Louisville team are great to work with. As a bonus, the build also finished under budget!

We recently completed a home build with Schumacher Homes of Louisville. The entire process was exceptionally well planned out and executed. Permits were ready upon closing and excavation started within 3 days. We broke ground Nov 1, 2026 and received our keys April 28, 2026. Floyd (General Manager) and team have this process wired. Melissa, our GC, was fantastic. Kayla always responded to emails or inquiries. Communication is key with your builder, and the team was always prompt to respond to any of our questions We are in love with our Classic Olivia and could not be happier with the result. If you are looking to build from an honest, proven, reliable and timely home builder, Schumacher Homes should be #1 on your list.

We could not be more pleased with our initial phase of working with the team at Schumacher Louisville, especially Billie Neace and Dee Coyne! Billie stands apart from the droves of typically annoying frontline sales advisors in the building industry—he was amazing to work with. He took time to understand our needs, never pushed, and knew his stuff. He was able to get us accurate pricing on all our desired features immediately and nothing changed from our initial conversation! It was so refreshing to work with a true professional who demonstrates years of experience in the industry by giving us an accurate idea of price from the get-go! Our time with Dee was an absolute delight. She was reachable immediately any time we had any doubts or questions about our design choices and it’s clear that she really enjoys her job and cares about us being happy with our dream home. We always got a warm welcome and felt like family every time we stopped by the design studio. She was so very patient with us as we figured out how to dial in exactly the look we were going for. We never felt pressured or rushed—a truly wonderful experience which seems to be rare these days! Highly recommend.

Working with the Louisville team was amazing! Great work!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to build with Schumacher Homes Louisville, and that’s in large part thanks to our amazing new home consultant, Katie Hall. From the very first meeting, Katie was incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to talk to. She made us feel comfortable right away and truly listened to our vision for our future home. What sets Katie apart is how personable and genuine she is—talking with her feels like chatting with a longtime friend. Her knowledge of the homebuilding process is top-notch, and it was especially reassuring to know that she’s also building her own Schumacher home. It speaks volumes about how much she believes in the company and the quality they deliver. Katie guided us every step of the way with patience and enthusiasm, and her expertise gave us total confidence in our choices. We’re so excited about our new home and so thankful to have had Katie by our side throughout this journey. If you’re considering building with Schumacher in Louisville, we wholeheartedly recommend asking for Katie Hall. You’ll be in great hands!
