Scottys Stunt and Tactical Driving Course

Scotty completely changed how I drive in the first two hours of this course. After a couple of minor collisions, I had realized that what I’d learned as a teenager was not enough to keep me safe on the road. I wanted to learn defensive driving skills. Scotty is a master of “anything with wheels.” He has a way of understanding and explaining how a car moves that’s unlike anything I’d ever heard before. He is a patient, intuitive, and creative teacher. I appreciate what I learned on this course more and more. It’s not cheap, but is it worth it to avoid another accident? To me, no question.

This was an amazing experience! If you want to do something normal (translation: boring) with your family you can take them to a museum, take them to a theme park, go camping, go on a trip, etc. If you want to do something unforgettable, take them to Scottys! He's a great teacher, he made sure we had a blast but also made sure we went home with some new skills. We came with a wide range of driving experience and he was able to coach each of us exactly at the level we needed. I'll be going back for more as soon as i can.

I recently completed a stunt driving course with Scotty's Driving School, and it was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. From the moment the course began, Scotty demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, knowledge, and commitment to safety. Every technique was explained thoroughly, broken down into manageable steps, and reinforced with clear, practical instruction. What could have felt intimidating was made approachable through his patient teaching style and attention to detail. Not only did I have an incredible time behind the wheel, but I also walked away with a much deeper understanding of vehicle control. The amount I learned in a short period of time was genuinely impressive. What truly sets Scotty apart, is his character. His passion for teaching is evident and his ability to inspire confidence while maintaining a supportive learning environment is a gift for bringing out the best in his students.

My brother and I took the 3 day stunt and tactical driving class with Scotty. It was truly epic- it pushed us out of our comfort zone, built new skills and confidence behind the wheel, and was simply a blast. Scotty is also a one-of-kind guy: fun, thoughtful, full of stories, and genuine. I will fondly remember our special group and the time in the High Desert for my whole life.

He was consistently patient, prepared, and attentive, ensuring that every piece of direction and safety, was clearly understood and executed to the highest standard. I’d give it a million stars! Our three days were life changing, and I truly mean it! This is NOT your “learn to drive course”, it’s “concur your fears, gain freedom in life, become empowered, know your strength, gain control and confidence, and never be an idiot on the road ever again” course! I bought the course for my hubby as a bday gift, and was gonna hang out and work while they do their thing. After one day of watching, I realized I HAD to do it! For the safety of my family, for my own internal confidence and for the FUN they had and the sparkle in my husbands eyes after just one day. So I joined for two days and never have I imagined being able to do what I did in just two days. I’m a different driver now for sure and this was a lifelong memory creation. And very importantly so, Scotty is one of the coolest most unique humans I’ve ever met. He’s real, yet magical, he sees through you and give you what you need. And all the stories of his fascinating life experiences made for incredible interludes between heart racing, soul changing trials on the wheels. Mind blowing!

Well, my lifelong dream has been to do stunt driving work. Thought I also had to light myself on fire, but learned differently from Scotty. I had a great time at the three day course. Scotty gives great instructions and explains what the desired outcome is of any given maneuver or task. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in driving. I don’t know yet if this is the path to a career, so I can’t comment on that – – but I will take the driving lessons and the experience with me wherever I go – – real world or film world! I could have done with a little bit more time behind the wheel, but I’m also confident that Scotty has a master plan and probably knows the limits of his students’ learning hours per day.

Being a guy with Track experience with both car and Bikes I just wanted to say this. Scotty, thank you so much man!, yeah It was a blast taking the 2 days with ya I love the way you work! and yeah i cant wait to put the skills that I learn to use!. Actually it strikes me the way you can communicate such amount of detail in a very short period of time, I think you're a great guy and each stunt driver out there should stop by to you at least once to learn from the best! This said my experience was so positive i wanna do more! heheheheh!, I Highly suggested to anyone from experienced drivers to newcomers!
