Customers frequently highlight the company's punctuality, clear communication, and knowledgeable guides who provide detailed insights into local geology, history, and wineries. Tours typically include tasting fees and transportation to diverse sites like the Columbia Gorge and Willamette Valley, with groups ranging from private to small public sizes. One critic noted a negative experience where the company contacted a client via phone shortly before a tour to inform them of a cancellation, preventing immediate communication while the customer was traveling for work.

This was our 3rd time taking the Sea to Summit Wine tour in the Willamette valley with Shahn. Shahn is a great tour guide and the wineries we went to were excellent and really showcase how good pinot noirs are in the valley!
Shahn picked us up on time and was very patient with the 12 of us throughout the day. Which isnt easy with our group. He was a wealth of info not only about the history of the area, but also about the wines. In fact, he gave us more info than the wineries did. We had a memorable day and would highly recommend it.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Sea to Summit on our private wine tour! From the very beginning, the booking process was quick and easy, and they were incredibly accommodating of a few special requests we had. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free. Our tour guide, Sean, was absolutely delightful. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and the wineries, as well as the wines themselves, and he was able to answer every question we had along the way. He also made the day so enjoyable and personable. The wineries we visited were phenomenal, and we especially appreciated that we were able to experience several wineries with completely different personalities and character. Each stop felt unique, and of course, the wine was amazing! We had such a fabulous time and truly could not have asked for a better experience. When we return to the area, we will absolutely be booking another tour with Sea to Summit. I cannot recommend them enough
Josh provided a wonderful tour with lots of good info and wonderful pictures. We did a private tour and had a great experience
Josh, I wanted to let you know how great Sean was on our tour. Thank you so much to both of you for a wonderful experience. Our tour group was very pleased, and I thought the information provided and the places we went to were perfect. Sean is so knowledgeable about the area. I just loved the geology lesson and how it tied into the area and wines that are produced there. I will definitely be sending folks your way.
Shahn was an excellent guide for beautiful day of sightseeing and wine tasting!! Sea to Summit wine tours include all of the cost of the tastings at each of three very unique wineries. Shahn was knowledgeable and kind to us on our Girl Trip! Our South Louisiana group enjoyed so much. Highly recommended!!! Dot, Donna, Joyce and Jennifer
A great experience from start to finish. Public group is around 10/12 people, so small enough to be fun. The tasting fees being included is really helpful and is not the case for some other groups. Shayn, the guide, was great - good balance between chat and information. The three wineries were all different in style but the wines were good. Meet up instructions were clear as to place and time - you couldn't have got it wrong. An excellent day all around.
Great tour of the Willamette Valley wineries! Our tour guide, Shahn was fabulous - very educational and a fun guy- took us to 3 really good wineries. Can highly recommend this company.
We had such a great time on this wine tour!! Our host was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history about the region which we enjoyed. The wineries were all unique and had different vibes but the one thing that was consistent was that the wine was GOOD! We went home with many bottles of wine and it was very easy to fly them back TAX FREE! The ride out to the wineries and communication was smooth and easy which we appreciated. Would definitely book with this company again.
We so appreciated Shahns knowledge of wine and Portland history and geology. We had great fun!
