Customers frequently praise technicians for being punctual, professional, and knowledgeable when repairing appliances like washers, dryers, and refrigerators. However, several low-star reviews highlight significant issues with pricing, where repair costs were perceived as high relative to the value of the fix. Additionally, a recurring complaint involves the inability to reach a human representative for scheduling or support, with customers describing the automated customer service system as unhelpful and frustrating.

Ron was my technician for my refrigerator. He explained everything fully. I have two golden doodles, and Ron was very good with them. Which made his job much easier, because they always think they need to help.

Thank you for your feedback, Betsy! We're glad to hear Ron explained everything fully and was great with your golden doodles.
The booking was convenient. The technician was knowledgeable and understanding. The problem is with their pricing. They wanted to charge me over $600 to replace a drain pump in a washing machine, acknowledging that it was nearly the cost of a new machine. According to Google AI, “Replacing a drain pump on a GE model GFW550SSN1WW front-load washer typically costs between $200 and $380 when using a professional repair service. This total includes a diagnostic/service fee ($100–$150), labor ($70–$130), and the OEM drain pump part itself ($60–$90).” As a further confirmation I called a local appliance repair technician who quoted me $240 for the same job. Nearly 1/3 the cost of Sears! I ate the $129 diagnostic fee and sent Sears on their way. This will be the last dollar they get from me!

Thank you for your feedback, Kathleen! We're glad to hear the service was quick, professional, and courteous, and that everything was explained thoroughly to you.
Jon was very helpful and after learning the new circuit board that was installed was not the issue. He figured out what the problem might be. My washer is now fixed and working good. He was very nice and insightful. Thank you for fixing my washer. My hears will no longer hurt from the sounds that it was making.
