I booked Sears Home Services to repair my leaking Samsung washer in Erie. I was given a service date without a specific arrival window. I waited this morning, but no technician arrived. When I contacted customer service, the representative told me they could not contact the technician and could not provide a clear arrival time. During that conversation, they also tried to sell me a roughly $59-per-month protection plan for other appliances.<br><br>I needed help with an existing repair appointment, and the scheduling problem remained unresolved. This experience wasted my time and left my washer unrepaired. Clear arrival windows, timely updates, and a way for customer service to reach technicians would make a significant difference.
