Semmelmann Interiors is by far one of the best design firms out there! There’s so much passion behind every project, it’s clear how much the team values creating beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces for each client. The spirit of living is truly in the giving!
Susan and her team designed our entire home from the very beginning of construction all the way through the final installation of every furnishing and decorative detail. Since we were living out of state throughout the build, they were absolutely invaluable in bringing our vision to life. We certainly weren’t always the easiest clients, and our four-year build came with its fair share of challenges. Through it all, Susan and her team remained steady, positive, professional, and incredibly dependable. Their ability to navigate every obstacle while keeping the project moving forward gave us complete confidence. When our home was finally finished, we flew in and walked into what felt like something straight out of a magazine. Every room was fully furnished and beautifully styled, the beds were perfectly made (and I have to mention—Susan’s bedding is absolutely incredible!), and every last detail had been thoughtfully completed. There was truly nothing left for us to do except unpack a few personal belongings. It was an unforgettable experience. Now that we’ve lived in our home for nearly a year, I continue to notice and appreciate new details almost every day. Susan and her team created a home that is not only impeccably designed but also warm, welcoming, and genuinely comfortable to live in. Every finish, every furnishing, and every thoughtful touch has enhanced our daily lives. I cannot recommend Susan and her team highly enough. If I could offer one piece of advice to anyone considering working with them, it would be this: trust the process. They are exceptionally talented, deeply experienced, and truly know what they’re doing. The end result is worth every bit of the journey.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. Walking alongside you throughout this journey was truly an honor, and the trust you placed in our team, especially while building from out of state, means more than we can express. Knowing your home continues to bring you joy and that you're still discovering thoughtful details nearly a year later is the greatest compliment we could receive. That's exactly why we do what we do. And thank you for sharing your encouragement to "trust the process." For anyone considering building or renovating a home, beautiful design takes collaboration, patience, and trust, but when everyone shares the same vision, the result is a home that serves your family for years to come. We are deeply grateful to have been a part of your story. Wishing you many more years of beautiful memories in your home. Susan & the Semmelmann Interiors Team
The designer paid attention to things most people overlook, like how natural sunlight changes throughout the day. Those thoughtful decisions influenced furniture placement and color choices beautifully. The rooms feel different in the best possible way from morning until evening.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We truly believe great design is found in the details, and natural light is one of the most important elements in creating a home that feels beautiful throughout the day. We're so grateful you noticed and are enjoying those intentional touches. Thank you again for your thoughtful review!
Our master bedroom never felt relaxing until this redesign. The designer recommended softer lighting, warmer colors, and a simpler furniture arrangement. The room now has a peaceful atmosphere that makes winding down after work much easier every evening.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. Creating spaces that bring peace and comfort to everyday life is exactly what we hope to achieve, and we're so happy your primary bedroom has become that retreat for you. Thank you again for your trust and your kind words!
I loved that they encouraged us to keep some existing furniture instead of replacing everything. With a few clever updates and different placement, those familiar pieces looked completely refreshed. It saved money while preserving memories attached to our home.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We truly believe great design is about honoring your story, not simply replacing everything. It was a joy finding ways to refresh the pieces you already loved while creating a home that feels beautiful, meaningful, and uniquely yours. We're so grateful for your support!
Working with this team was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The entire process was seamless, organized, and stress-free. They took the time to truly understand my vision and transformed it into a space that exceeded my expectations. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and they were always responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and their creativity and expertise made all the difference. The final result feels both beautiful and functional, and I couldn't be happier with how everything came together. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented design team that delivers exceptional results while making the experience enjoyable and effortless.
Thank you Madeline! We appreciate you and love working with you and your impeccable taste! You make our job so fun!!
Hey y’all! Just wanted to give a big ol’ shoutout to Susan Semmelmann and her awesome crew for absolutely crushing it on a recent project. Seriously — just walking into their design center feels like stepping into a Pinterest board that came to life (but, like… way fancier). I’ve had the chance to work with a few folks on the team and every single one of them has been a total rockstar. Super clear about timelines, pricing, deliveries — no mystery, no nonsense, no “we’ll circle back” kind of stuff. They answered all my questions faster than I could come up with new ones (which is saying something), and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Bottom line: these folks are pros. I picked the right team, and I’m seriously glad I did. Huge thanks to everyone — y’all were amazing!
