I went in for my new patient appointment today, and this place by FAR exceeded my expectations!! I was greeted at the door by a wonderful receptionist and was taken back in a timely manner. The MA and provider answered any and ALL questions I had as well as acknowledged my concerns! I was given helpful tips and even the cutest goody bag! Although new to the journey I’m on, the staff made the start of it very tolerable and judgement free. 100 starts if I could!!!!

My experience with Seriously health has been great! I started in February of this year and have lost a total of 90 pounds with dedication. My doctor, Gaida, has been awesome throughout my whole process.I am so glad that I discovered this clinic to help me reach my weight loss goals!
This Weight Loss Clinic is ABSOLUTELY the BEST one in the Hampton Roads area! My doctor Mrs. Celiz Gaida truly cares about her patients' concerns, history, needs, and goals. When I say this medication has changed my life...it literally has CHANGED MY LIFE! First and foremost...my journey began on May 31, 2025. I weighed 230Ibs. This is the day when I received the 1st weekly injection of the starting dosage of 2.5mL. Although I was initially very nervous about it because of bad things I heard for months about these weight lose meds, I decided to go ahead and take the chance. I figured, at this point, what do I have to lose because any medication a person takes has warnings or possible potential risks/side effects. Being a Type 2 Diabetic for years, with High Blood Pressure, Sleep Apnea, having Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOS) - a female condition that causes insulin resistance, weight gain and irregular periods/infertility) and being OBESE, made me a PERFECT candidate for being prescribed this medication, as my doctor explained. The first few weeks, I paid out of pocket weekly to receive my injections, while my insurance coverage authorization was pending. Well, GOD IS GOOD! I was eventually notified that my health insurance provider did approve coverage for most of the cost, which will cover cost til next Feb 2026. Im only required to pay a small co-pay of $24.99 per refill. Now here's the part on how I'm progressing... The Positive Progress or PROS: 1. Since I've been on this medication (May 31st), I am already down 16lbs, which is good because it's a slow, steady, healthy weight loss. 2. Appetite Suppression - no more overeating. 2. I sleep a lot better throughout the night. 3. Periods are back to normal. 4. My energy levels are off the roof! 5. My blood sugar is now in a healthy range and stays there. The Negative Progress or CONS: 1. I occasionally have nausea and constipation, but nothing that a prebiotic and prescribed nausea meds won't take care of or alleviate. 2. Because this weekly shot is insulin, it can lower my blood sugar levels too low (can cause hypoglycemia), so I have to monitor this sometimes to ensure my levels don't get too low. In closing...the PROS outweighs the CONS, so I think I made the right decision! Lovin this new journey!
I can't say enough about Gabby and Hilda!!!!! They are the nicest most courteous representatives I've dealt with since I've been coming to Seriously Health. Not to mention if I send a text, (I think) Gabby responds/Follow-up ASAP. Don't let me forget to mention Nisha (my Primary) and Veronica (Alternate) for my monthly visits. They are the utmost professionals and answers all my questions and concerns and actually listens to me. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to all the ladies who has helped me. Let me start by saying this post is long overdue, and I’m super excited to share my experience! I've been visiting this clinic for about six weeks now, and I just had to rave about it. My amazing provider, Dr. Malone, has truly been a game changer for me. She not only listens to my needs but also gives incredible feedback to help me crush my weight loss goals before my wedding! Walking into the clinic feels fantastic—the lobby and restrooms are spotless, and the welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. No awkward moments at the front desk; they greet you like a friend! Plus, I love how quickly I'm seen as a walk-in, and that includes my scheduled appointments too. Everything is handled with such professionalism and care, ensuring privacy that I truly appreciate. The injection prices are great, although I’d be thrilled if they offered military discounts. But hey, the special they had through May was phenomenal, so I’m hopeful for something just as exciting in July! The Medical Assistants, or MAs, are absolutely rocking it! They run the office like a well-oiled machine, ensuring every patient is taken care of promptly. If you get a chance, make sure to thank these incredible ladies for their hard work—they definitely deserve it! Overall, my rating reflects nothing but a fantastic experience and wonderful interactions with the staff. I can’t recommend this clinic enough!
