Highly recommend! From the first consult in our empty backyard with Randy, I could tell he would not only make our vision come to life but would show us inspiration that we had not even thought of. Once the work started with the project manager, Mike, the communication was flawless. Every day they let us know what to expect and were transparent with the process. The ending of the project was the icing on the cake as we worked with Abbie, the company's landscape designer. Abbie drew up a custom plan with the right variety of plants for our mix of sun and shade. She even made my jasmine vine wall come to life that I had been dreaming of. Incredibly nice people with incredible talent.

We recently hired Setting Sun and Patios to do our dream backyard. We met with Randy to design and plan our backyard project. We are very pleased with the results of the project that we did with Setting Sun. We had a few patio companies take a look at our back yard and make suggestions, and Randy really set himself apart from his competitors. He had a vision and rather than just quoting the hardscape, he looked at the entire space and made suggestions to make it as functional and as enjoyable for our family as possible. We now spend more time on our patio than we do indoors. Randy, Abbie, and the entire team are fantastic to work with.

Randy and his team are amazing! He made the entire process easy and not stressful: from the initial design consult to follow-up meetings to installation including recommendations for an electrician & stump grinding service - the process was smooth. Melvin's installation team were very respectful of our property and left the site clean each day. If you are looking to enhance your yardscape with a patio, retaining wall, fire pit or entertainment area, look no further! Update 06.16.2023 Still a work in progress from a landscaping perspective. We added an additional lighting fixture today & realize we need several more. The nighttime photos are from this evening. Update 06.13.2024 We've made progress over the last year on the landscaping. This space continues to be one of our favorite areas to relax. New photos added.

We had a perfect experience with Randy and his team when creating our dream outdoor space. Randy walked the yard with us and asked really intuitive questions that helped us visualize what we wanted and what would work best in our yard. There was no pressure, just a collaboration of ideas with an expert in his field - it was 1) so refreshing and 2) incredibly helpful. Once we had a plan, the crew set to work and delivered exactly what we had envisioned. We have had some time to really soak in our patio and it is everything we wanted it to be and more. I would absolutely use Setting Sun again, and so should you!
