Customers frequently praise the store for its fast, free delivery, high-quality products like mulch and topsoil, and helpful staff who assist with loading and accurate estimates. Pricing is generally considered reasonable, though some reviewers note that costs can be higher than competitors. A recurring criticism involves communication issues, specifically inaccurate business hours listed online and difficulty reaching the office by phone during posted operating times.

Great service, Gerardo the owner great to deal with. Had ordered pine straw and mulch from big box store; the promised two days delivery became over 2 weeks! 2 hours after my phone conversation with Gerardo the product arrived in my yard. Same price and much better quality.
I ordered some soil for a new raised bed garden. It arrived exactly as scheduled, very high quality and delivered free in the exact spot on the tarp, as I requested! The driver was very polite and neat when he emptied his truck. Affordable price, free delivery, great quality soil and courteous driver is a winning combination!
I was frustrated that the hours on Google did not match actual hours that people were there. I went there twice and called numerous times and did not get a hold of anyone until later in the day. It would have been nice to at least have a sign on the door so that I am not sitting in the parking lot waiting for it to open on a day and time that it is supposed to be open.
Seventy West is an absolute gem! The owner is wonderful, and the entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Every product they offer is top quality, and it's clear they take great pride in their work. It's always a pleasure doing business with them—professional, reliable, and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Very fast delivery and excellent service! Just beware, that if you purchase 10yard topsoil for approximately $500 and have it delivered ($75), you may also receive pallets, nails, and brick with it!
Excellent choices and folk's
Helpful staff. We didn't buy anything yet.
Very nice place for any kind of mulch and color patio pavers and grills and all sorts of different size gravel and larger decorative boulders they actually squeezed me in for a next day delivery very pleased
I ordered some compost from a cheaper source and recieved way less than what I ordered and the compost was trash and rocks with a little bit of large wood chips. Had I not been dealing with a serious unexpected issue at the time of delivery I would have sent the junk back, but I told him to dump it and I dealt with that later. THEN I ordered some QUALITY compost from 70 WEST. They gave me the right amount, and the quality is 10x better than the other stuff. The price difference made up for it big time. Lesson learned and I'll be dealing with 70 west from now on. Not to mention the driver actually called before they showed up and took the time to let me inspect the material. The whole team is top notch!
Great service!!!
