She was very efficient and did a great job! She worked on my wedding dress and my reception/exit dress. We got engaged and married in one month so we were working on very short notice and she fit me into her schedule and didn’t treat me any less because of it! I also loved that her store is family-friendly and that customers brought their kids in without worry.
I also got my veil from here on a whim for an extremely reasonable price and would recommend that others try the same!

I never write reviews, but I was so disappointed by them, I feel the need to warn others. I went went to Sew Savannah because it was so highly recommended by the bridal shop I purchased my dress from. For context, I am a plus size bride who is a little bit on the older side. My dress needed to be let out a bit and have the hem taken up. Each time I went I felt brushed aside. They seemed fatphobic, giving thinner brides a lot more attention, while I felt rushed through my appointments. I expressed anxiety at each appointment and felt blown off. When I got my dress back, after paying a total of $400, it was still extremely tight. Now I recognize there is only so much fabric to work with, but I was not offered any other options such as corseting the back or something else. Additionally, they had not even put in an eye hook so I could zip the dress properly when I got there. They were sewing it on me when I was trying it on for my final appointment. If you tell me something is finished, then all details should be finished. But the worst part was the hem. It looks like it was done by a drunken raccoon and a kindergartner. It was not even cut straight. The edges are jagged. I'm not exactly a great seamstress, but I could have done that myself. When I picked up my dress, a literal chunk of fabric fell out. Their work is shoddy and they are rude to bigger brides.

Savanna is not only so incredibly sweet, but extremely talented. She handled the alterations of my wedding dress; hemming, making detachable sleeves, taking it in and running buttons the length of the dress. It fit perfectly on my wedding day. She also was able to take my mom’s 80s wedding dress and create the most perfect bridal shower dress for me. I loved it so much I wore it for my wedding reception as well.it was so special to be able to wear my mom’s dress and Savanna made it all possible. I would recommend Sew Savanna to anyone needing alterations. She brought my vision to life. Thank you so so much! 🤍

I truly don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am for the incredible work Savanna did for my wedding. If you’ve ever fallen in love with the dress that just happens to be several sizes too big, you know the mix of excitement and panic that comes with it. I found my dream dress in a size 12, even though I wear a 2/4—and I couldn’t walk away from it. Thankfully, I didn’t have to.
She transformed that dress to fit me like it was custom made. Every adjustment, every detail was absolutely flawless. It hugged in all the right places, moved beautifully, and I felt like the best version of myself on my wedding day—all because of her talent and care.
What meant even more to me, though, was the robe she created out of my mom’s wedding dress. It was elegant, meaningful, and something I’ll treasure for the rest of my life. Wearing it while getting ready was such a special moment, wrapped in love and memory.
Her craftsmanship is incredible, but it’s the heart she puts into her work that makes her unforgettable. She made me feel seen, supported, and completely at ease through a process that could’ve been so stressful.

My experience with Savanna and her sister was amazing! They both work at the shop and are both incredibly sweet. I need a good bit of alterations done to my calla Blanche wedding gown. It was several sizes too big (purchased a sample gown) and i wanted sleeves to go with it. They made the sleeves, dealt with my many changes of mind with ease and i didn’t feel like a bother ONCE! I will forever recommend any and everyone to come here. My dress was handled perfectly and I’m just so happy i worked with them for my alterations and customizations!
