I was so glad to find a kennel that would board our lab, Emma. We were traveling and could not keep pets at a house we rented. The people at Shady Acres were wonderful. You can tell they love dogs. I was able to view Emma via the outside camera when she was at play. I would recommend Shady Actes. Emma thanks you for taking such good care of her.

I’m genuinely surprised this place has 4.8 stars with 800+ reviews because our experience was incredibly disappointing. It makes me call into question if the reviews are even legitimate. I’m sure the business may respond and say our understanding is incorrect, but if that’s the case, their communication with owners…

My dog has been apprehensive about overnight stays in the past, but not when it comes to Shady Acres! He is always excited to go, and the staff dotes on him so much that I know he is in good hands. I appreciate that the dogs get so much outside enrichment time, and that Shady Acres offers a lot of grooming services…

My little lady LOVES shady acres!! We started her in dayschool which was the perfect ease into socialization that was needed, and then she was able to go to daycare, and she LEAPS out of the car when we arrive. Every time we put her in daycare she is passed out in the evening. The staff is so warm and friendly too.…

By far the best boarder we have found in Austin. After experiencing a few bad boarders, we found Shady Acres and haven’t looked back in over 3 years. Staff is always friendly and caring. Never have any fears about our dogs safety or happiness while we are gone. I definitely would, and have, recommend Shady Acres to anyone looking for a new boarder.

Left my 8 month pup here for a trip and came to absolutely love this place and the staff. Especially for the price point, AMAZING. You can tell the staff are very well trained and know how to read pups in a group setting which made me know my dog was in good hands.

We love Shady Acres. Over the last 7 years, we’ve taken our dogs there for both daycare and boarding. We really like the fact that there is plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. The dogs come home tired and happy. We highly recommend Shady Acres!

I’ve taken my 9-year-old Australian Shepherd to Shady Acres when I go out of town for a few months now. They’re attentive and take good care of him. I appreciate the camera views and he always comes home tired but happy. Would recommend!
