Easily the worst experience in a barbershop that I can recall. I usually go to Mill Valley Barbershop and Lily always does a great job. She’s such a good technician. But she wasn’t available so I took a chance and booked at the Shavery. What a mistake. Christian the barber did not listen to what I wanted. I told him I was comfortable with a #3 clipper and I like to keep the volume on top because my hair is thinning. He ignored Everything I had said and proceeded to buzz me like a Marine going into Boot Camp (Not a good look for a 66-year-old man.) when I made the appointment, he said he would need 45 minutes for my appointment. When I got there, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. No precision. No style. No shape.It’s truly awful. $50. Yeesch. I can’t see how this place to survive for 10 years. I’ll be wearing a beanie for the next 8 weeks!

I went in and had Chris cut my hair on recommendation from a friend. I do not regret it at all. I have a beard and am balding (no shame). Also I have not had a professional haircut in almost 16 years. Chris did a fantastic job. He took the reins and gave me a great haircut, with style. He styled my beard including a hot towel and straight razor cut. I will be going back.

The price is way over jacked. It’s a haircut guys, they act like they are jewelry makers. There was no customer at the shop, and yet can’t have walk in customer. lol… let’s see how long this establishment lasts.

Sorry we couldn’t get you in for an appointment today. We only had one of our 4 barbers scheduled and he was booked- I think he tried to get you in his lunch break (?) We usually can handle walk-ins. Our prices are based on the service providers experience and the demand for their time. And yes, as you mentioned, you can get a haircut for $30 in the city and at any Supercuts or Sportsclips location.
