Customers frequently praise the company for punctuality, professional conduct, and clear communication during roofing, siding, and window projects. Many reviewers note that the team arrives on schedule, cleans up daily, and provides reasonable pricing for repairs and full replacements. However, a small number of low-star reviews criticize the quoting process, alleging that initial estimates changed after approval or that supplemental payments were requested without prior clarity.

Fix roof by doomer window.
Thank you, Irene! I appreciate you trusting us with the roof repair by your dormer window and taking the time to leave a review.
We had Shepherd Roofing and Renovations replace all of our windows and siding. They showed up every day and were on time and worked the whole day. The project was completed on time and the cost was very reasonable. The contractors kept the place cleaned up and were very professional.
Thank you, Angela! I’m glad you’re happy with the windows and siding. It means a lot to hear that the crew stayed on schedule and kept everything clean. I appreciate you choosing us for the project.
David and his entire crew were excellent. Probably the only repair/renovation team I've hired that I wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend to family and friends!
Jordan, that means a lot to me. Thank you for trusting our crew and for being willing to recommend us to your family and friends!
Working with Shepherd was great! I have now used them twice for small roofing projects and both times the work was done and completed within a few days. Great company to deal with. Very responsive.
Thanks, Chip! I appreciate you calling us back for a second project. Glad we could get both roofing jobs taken care of quickly, and thank you for the kind words about our communication.
Our house was struck by lightning on a Friday night and David was here quickly to tarp the roof. They gave us a quote and were here as scheduled and got the roof fixed up. We love supporting small businesses and will definitely use them again!
Thank you, Teresa! I’m glad we could get the roof tarped quickly after the lightning strike and get the repairs taken care of. Your support of our small business means a lot.
We were extremely pleased with David’s team at Shepherd Roofing. Our realtor recommended this company as they are professional contractors that provide various services. They worked diligently and cosmetic improvements were completed in a timely manner. We were happy that our home was ready for staging and marketing went smoothly and we were ready for Open House showing within a week.
Lillian, I’m glad the work helped get your home ready for staging and the open house on time. Thank you for trusting our team with those improvements and for sharing your experience!
Amazing work! Wonderful company! They completed our roof in one day! Owners are truly sweet and want the best for the customer!
Thank you, Shelbie! I’m happy to hear you’re pleased with the roof and that our crew got it finished in a day. Your kind words mean a lot to us.
I want to update the previous review I did because I recently had Shepherd Roofing put an entire new roof on my home in Plano. They showed up early in the morning on the day.they scheduled my roof replacement . The workers protected all of the landscaping, windows and door areas. They worked quickly and efficiently to remove the old roof and put the new roof on. It was a very hot day, but it didn’t seem to affect their work. The roof was completed within seven hours of starting. When they left at the end of the day, it didn’t look like anyone had ever stepped foot in my yard. Jose supervised the entire job and inspected everything at the end of the day before asking for any payment. The city inspection passed on the initial inspection. These guys are the best and they were the low bid out of two other roofers.I would highly recommend Shepherd Roofing and Jose Sarmiento. I’ve needed roof repairs on two separate occasions, on my home and rental home. My experience using Sheperd Roofing has exceeded my expectations. Jose was extremely knowledgeable and very professional when dealing with us. He was very patient explaining our roofing issues, and then offered more than one solution, allowing us to choose which one fit within our budget. We were kept informed when the workers would arrive how long the job would take and it happened just as they said it would. Jose then did a follow up inspection of the work and sent us many pictures documenting what they had done. Sheperd Roofing are very experienced and you can rely on what they tell you. I will continue to use them for all my roofing needs.
Hi Cindy! We're absolutely delighted to hear about your wonderful experience with us. Your comments about Jose and the team truly warmed our hearts. It's fantastic to know that we met your expectations, and we're thrilled to be your go-to for future roofing needs! Looking forward to serving you again!
Shepherd Roofing was a great company to work with. From my first meeting to the last work done they are professional in every step. They were on time, their employees were professional in everything they did. They cleaned up every day before they left. The work they performed was excellent. I would highly recommend Shepherd Roofing to anyone needing repair work done. Thank you David and your team for all they did for us.
I have dealt with many roofers over my life. This is the best one I have had the privilege of using. They are responsive, fast, transparent and keep you informed. I highly recommend this company and encourage one to reach out with confidence that they will take care of you fairly and honestly.
