There are not many places were you see the genuine kindness of the staff. They are supporting of each other as well as the clients. Very clean. The clients have formed a positive community. What a blessing.

Sherwood Village deserves every bit of my 5-star rating. Not because everything is perfect, but because of the way they conduct their business. The true measure of customer service commitment can only really be seen when things don’t go according to plan. We moved my father-in-law (Papa) late June ’26. The transition for him was seamless, but his room wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be. When I emailed Ms. Jennie Fay, the Marketing Director, late that Saturday night to let her know what happened, I didn’t expect to hear from her until Monday, when normal business hours had resumed. But she got back to me right away. She adjusted things on their end to make up for the loss of time, allowing us to move Papa in before admission. When he showed up, his apartment was ready, fully moved in feeling as much like home as possible. Sherwood Village has dedicated employees that have worked there for ten years or more. The fact that they hold on to good people and promote from within their own facility is a testament to the quality of the work environment. Happy employees simply do better at their jobs – which means better, more stable care for their residents than a place with high turnover. The fact that they take both private pay and state assistance residents means that Papa will not have to move, even if he needs to go on state aide. That’s huge both for his mental and physical stability as he ages, and for us – saving us the worry and time of having to find him somewhere else to live and moving him all over again.

There is so much good to say about Sherwood. I was given a short time to move my sister to Memory Care. I saw several other facilities. Some would not allow personal furniture. Some were cavernous or over stimulating. Some were closed off like a person warehouse. Sherwood was nothing like the others. Sherwood allowed her own furniture and provided the rest as needed. Communication with caregivers was absolutely excellent and it is easy to see that they love their residents!

The place has changed tremendously....Kim the intake personnel thinks she owns the place in fact tells everyone her brother owns the place... which is not true...it's just not a family friendly place..

Kim is our Wellness Director, and also our Chief Clinical Officer (which makes her an owner in our company). Sherwood Village is under the umbrella of Pennant, not by any individual staff member or their family. 2. As a referral agent, you did not provide the required information to your clients regarding our admissions process, which caused confusion and avoidable delays for both the couple moving in; their family who was assisting them, and our staff. Despite this, we worked directly with the clients to ensure they received accurate information and support, and they are now very happy with their experience at Sherwood Village. We take the integrity and reputation of our community seriously and remain committed to maintaining a respectful, transparent, and family‑friendly environment. If you have specific, verifiable concerns, we encourage you to contact our management team directly so they can be addressed appropriately.
My mother lives there now. The staff is very friendly and takes great care of her. She really likes the way they talk to her and help her with anything she needs. I also enjoy talking to them, they answer any questions that come up or find someone who can. It is great to see Mom visiting with her new friends.

My brother recently moved into Sherwood Village and loves it. There is a great community and a staff who cares. I was impressed at how proactive they have been at recognizing and providing the structure he needs to help him live his best life. I would take the culture here over a fancy facility any day.

The care givers at Sherwood are very attentive and great with her. In the realm of assisted living, the rates are reasonable, there are activities for many interests and it is very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to have my loved on there.

Very happy with Sherwood Village Assisted Living. for my mom. All Staff is very attentive and always friendly. Dealing with Jennie has been very positive. She always answers my texts even on her days off which I appreciate. Sherwood Village keeps their facility very clean at all times. I highly recommend this facility for Assisted Living.

Jenny, the admissions director made everything so easy to get my father into memory care. He loves it there and has made many new friends. RN Patrick is wonderful and keeps me up to date on all the medical details. Super helpful staff all the way around!!

My Mother is now living at Sherwood Village. Jennie Fay was excellent with the intake process. I had originally visited a year ago and when it came time to move mom, Jennie remebered me and treated us like family. Jennie has great communication. She cares about your needs and your emotions. The staff at Sherwood are awesome too! I am greeted with friendly smiles. They are taking good care of my mom and keep me updated on her health concerns. I recommend Sherwood Village.
