I've had a great experience working with Amber at Shoreside! She provides a supportive, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental space, and I especially appreciated her understanding of the challenges that can come with ongoing health concerns. Ambers approach is compassionate, practical, and genuinely helpful. I would highly recommend her!
My husband and I have been doing telehealth counseling with Katie Fortune for about a month or two. We appreciate how prepared she is for each session, guiding us in what she wants to work on for the session. That guidance prevents it from just turning into a venting session. She also does a good job balancing our need to work through present issues while keeping us in the EFT framework of recognizing our relational patterns and our deeper attachment needs underneath the immediate issue we are working through. She always has things for us to work on in the time between our sessions, which we find very helpful in keeping us from getting complacent between sessions. We are out of state and appreciate that Katie is licensed outside of Wisconsin and willing to work with us remotely.
