Done both private lessons and a board & train for my 1.5 yr old border collie - Daniel has been consistently helpful for me to better understand my dog in real-time and his communications that I've been misreading. His knowledge on behavior for a hyperactive dog is incredible, and his ability to read every situation and walk me through it has been instrumental in me helping to teach my dog how to be calm (and therefore all other issues stemmed from such). My dog loves the team, never had any inkling of an issue, completely trustworthy. Daniel came from recommendation from family and their dog, of whom I saw a night-and-day change in behavior. Nothing but praise for Signature K9.

I can’t recommend Danny and Signature K9 enough. I reached out virtually from NC because my dog Daisy had developed a serious fear of going outside in the mornings to pee. It had gotten to the point where the fear was spilling into the rest of her day, and she was running away from me each morning to hide in her crate. She wouldn’t come downstairs or even go outside with me and my other dog at lunchtime. This went on for approximately 3 months and I had even gotten informal suggestions from another trainer with no change. Danny gave me a clear, structured plan and the change has been incredible. Each week was noticeable improvement. Daisy now comes downstairs and goes outside willingly and happily in the mornings, and I have my confident, optimistic girl back. Danny understands dogs on an impressive level. I had little hope because this was a non aggressive fear case VIRTUALLY, so I really wasn’t able to even begin to imagine how the issue would be tackled - but it was!! She is enthusiastic in the morning now! Stick with the plan and he will help you and your dog!!

We had a great experience working with Dan and are very grateful for his help with our dog Aki. Daniel was incredible to work with! My husband and I enrolled our dog in his 6-week board-and-train program, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience and results. We both have hectic schedules that change from week to week, and Daniel was always incredibly flexible and accommodating with our pick-up and drop-off times. We drove an hour each way to his property every week, and it was absolutely worth the trip. The lessons we participated in were well structured, and Daniel’s instruction was always clear, consistent, and purposeful. He did a great job not only training our dog, but also teaching us how to reinforce everything at home. We saw a huge improvement in our dog’s behavior and obedience over the six weeks, and we left feeling confident and well prepared to continue the training on our own. We’re so grateful for the time and effort Daniel put into working with both us and our dog. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated trainer!

If you are looking for an expert dealing with behavioral problems with dogs Danny is your guy! Danny is professional and it shows that he has dedicated years of hard work to become truly good at what he does. He is good with communication and is clear through every step working with your dog. As a dog owner who invests in the best care for my dog I would trust Danny with my dog anytime knowing my dog is in good, safe hands!

Reaching out to Daniel for help with my dog was one of the best decisions I ever made. Prior to enrolling in his board and train program I struggled with pulling, biting, jumping, and other unwanted behaviors from my dog. Not only did he build a strong foundation for me to work with but he also taught me what I was doing right or wrong. Especially for someone like me who has never had a dog previously and no knowledge of what to do or how to treat a dog, the guidance and lessons were exactly what my dog and I needed to reset our relationship. He also explained the psychology of my dog and what his struggles are specifically. Now I’m excited to see how my dog matures into an adult after the foundation Daniel built and the time I will put into him. If anyone reads this I really do recommend working with him. Save yourself the stress and tears and work with an amazing trainer!

Titan & I had the best experience working with Daniel & Kevin for the 6 week board and train program. Titan is a NEW MAN — literally, and I learned so much !! I brought him in for dog reactivity & it has improved ten fold. Super grateful for this program. I feel so much more relaxed with my big boy & so excited to experience life with him again!
